for just two? My dh and I are thinking of going one night, but wonder if its something that is more fun to experience with a group?

probably will depend on your taste in entertainment.

For just a couple you might also consider the Luau or an Evening at Jellyrolls. But ya you might like it alot too.

To add to the OP questions..
There are 3 price stages based on seating area.
Can you tell me the advantages/disavantages of each?
And why I should pick that one.

I've done HDDR 7 times and always in small groups. Size (of the party) doesn't matter. It's a hoot, and some ofthe best ribs and fried chicken I've ever had. Now if they'd just upgrade the beer....

Yes I'd be very interested to know about the different seating categories also.

Another thing, can the Dining Plan be used for HDDR - if so, does it require two TS vouchers?

Tim

Yes it is included in DP but counts as 2 TS credits per person instead of 1. We had Cat 2 seats and they were great!

Food was good and the show was fun. My DS 8 had a blast. Though we were on the DP we paid OOP for this. Dining Plan wise I didn't think it was worth 2 TS but it was definitely worth going. :thumbsup2:

I've gone twice, once with DH and once with a girlfriend. It was fun and there were a lot of just couples there.
I have only sat front and center.....yep, both times, so no opinion on any other seating.

My family loves HDR. We go everytime we vacation at WDW. Don't worry about catagories, we have been all over the place and you can see the stage from anywhere. Even if you are upstairs, the chair swivel so that you can turn around. I don't think you will be disappointed, you just have to take it in the spirit that it is intended. It is not a serious dinner show, in fact it is rather corny. Our DS will be 22 when we go in December and when I suggested that we try something else he was the one that objected the loudest. Go and have a good time.

It's great fun regardless of the party size - the show is pretty interactive, and they play off the tables some. Everytime I have gone there have been lots of couples (esp honeymooners).

I haven't been since they went to the category seating so I can't comment much on that.

We are like the other poster...DSs 19 & 17 LOVED the show as much as DDs 6 & 9. They got pictures with the one perfromer when she came to the table. The show is definately corny but our whole family loved it.

There was a mom and little boy right next to us.... (boy about 5?) Anyway, I think we enjoyed the show even more just listening to this little boy laughing! he was having a true ball.

I say try it!

Love HDDR. I could go by myself and have a ball. This place is so much fun. You don't need a group in my opinion. Been here many of times.

HDDR is a great time no matter how many people you go with. It is a must do for us every trip.:thumbsup2
