when making a reservation for hoop dee doo do they charge your card right away, or just hold it with that number?

I got tickets for September a couple of weeks ago. They immediately charged my card for the full amount (even though they said it's to guarantee the reservation). I even was on the DDP. I called back yesterday and they credited my card since I was on the plan, but watch your statement. It sounds like it can go either way.

I'm on the DDP and have a ressie for 9/24 at 5:00pm. When I made the ressie they needed a CC# to secure the ressie but they did not charge it.

When we booked it spring '05 it came up on our charge card right away. No doubt when I book it this Sept for our March trip it will show up right away again.

They charged my card immediately, even though I told them I was on the dining plan. I was told that my card would be credited when I "redeemed" my dining plan credits. Judging from previous posts, it looks like it could go any way.

I was charged right away when I booked but we are not on the dining plan so I was expecting that.

When we booked, several months ago, they charged our card for the entire amount right then and there..

I booked the HDDR in April for our trip in Aug. I let them know that we were on the dining plan and they did not charge my CC.

I booked a while ago for October. I was told that my CC would not be charged unless we did not show up. So far it hasn't.

I was specifically asked if i would be on the dining plan when I just booked for November. I said that I was so the CM just asked for a credit card as a back up. I would have been kind of upset to have to pay for it now, but sounds like there are some inconsistencies in the system!

THANKS FOR ALL THE RESPONSES - I AM NOT ON THE DINING PLAN BUT I REALLY DON'T WANT MY CC TO HAVE $200.00 PUT ON IY RIGHT AWAY SINCE I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY RIGHT NOW. IF THEY JUST HELD IN IN CASE OF SHOW THAT WOULD BE O.K. WITH ME. OH WELL I GUESS I WILL JUST HAVE TO TAKE CHANCES AS TIME GETS CLOSER AND SEE IF AVAILABILITY YET.

SORRY FOR SCREAMING I JUST NOTICED CAPS IIS ON :lmao:

when we booked in january they guaranteed the card not charged it. but when we changed the res to match our new travel dates, end of february, the CM said that it was now policy to always charge, BUT since we were on the dining plan, they will be 'holding back' TS credits, 2 per person. so when we check in we will all have 7 ts credits and can choose to pay out of pocket for the HDD or have 2 TS taken off on the spot.this means that for the 7 peopel in our party, people who want to pay out of pocket can or they can pay with TS at hotel check in. So if going on the dining plan i would ask that they hold back 2 ts credits. However they still want a credit card so that if u don't show up they charge the credit card

I booked in May for a November show and they charged my credit card immediately. However, they did tell me that there would be no penalty if I cancelled before 48 hours.
