We haven’t been to Hoop in many years. Would love to go back yes we know it’s corny but that’s the charm for us. The issue is that my wife has since developed a salt intolerance. I know it’s an all you care to enjoy set menu. While I know that Disney is excellent and always accommodates us im asking because it’s far removed and they just might not have the resources to do this.
Has anyone with allergies eaten there and with a difficult allergy and been able to be accommodated?
thank you

The last time we went to HDDR was prior to Covid. My DM also can’t have much salt and my DH can’t have dairy or any spice that is hot and they were able to do plain chicken breasts for them and I forget what sides were brought for them and what the dessert was.

Awesome plain chicken breast is perfect. Thank you!

Make sure when you book you note there is an allergy like you do for any other ADR. There has not been any choice for salt so we always pick other.

My daughter is a vegetarian and I am diabetic with sesame allergy, my son has lactose and nut allergies and they had the chef come out and tell us our option. They brought out some of the usual stuff but also several special dishes. Phone ahead if you are concerned.

If it's not top 9, you are advised to contact Special Diets, fill out the request form and if necessary speak to a special diets cast member. I manage multiple top 9 and 2 non top 9 allergies for my children and I jump through all the hoops to ensure a successful ADR.

Thank you all just booked it. Is there no AP discount for this?
There is an AP discount but it’s not applied when you book. When you arrive at Pioneer Hall (HDD location) go to the Ticket Window on the left next to the rest rooms. Show your AP (or proof thereof) and your photo ID, and they’ll refund the discount amount to the credit card used to book. I can’t remember whether the discount is 10% or 20%.
