Hi, I've searched the posts, but the ones I found were either pretty old or people not having a rental car - so I apologize if this answer is already out there somewhere and I couldn't find it!

We will be renting a car for our trip. We will be at Animal Kingdom during the day and have reservations for a 5 pm Hoop De Doo. We have never been to this show before.

Is it really worth time to drive to the MK and deal with the transportation center and take the boat over?

Or should we just drive to FW? I've tried to find a map and I believe the parking for FW is off of Vista Blvd... correct? Then it looks like the orange bus would take us straight from the parking lot to the Pioneer Hall...? Is this still accurate?

Thanks so much!

I would just drive to FW - that's what we've done in the past (and what I plan on doing next weekend with DD7!). The entrance to FW is on Vista Blvd. You park in the visitor lot, then hop on one of the internal busses to Pioneer Hall. I don't think it matters if it's the orange bus or the purple (I think that's the other color internal bus) - they both make their way from one end of the resort to the other, just by different routes, if I recall correctly.

as pp said have to take a bus, just allow extra time. when we stay at campground 4pm seems to be break time for bus drivers, only one bus on each route. no bus goes straight to back of campgound, it will stop at each loop that someone wants off at. can take 15 minutes on bus not counting wait time. there is no car parking in back, even for hanicapped. yes golf carts get to park but no cars including taxi. that is where time gets lost with driving plus you will have to repeat back to front to get your car.
