I had made a reservation for 9/8 4pm show about 4 months ago. After doing some thinking I wanted to try switching to either the 4pm or 6:15pm on 9/6 instead with no luck. I have been trying the last 3 months or so....then I gave up on it. We are going so soon and made other plans based on what we could get. Just yesterday I was looking and found all three shows on 9/6 open. We aren't going to switch now because like I said we have everything worked out and planned based on the 9/8 show, but it would have been nice to switch it how I wanted about 3 months ago. I'm curious when we go on 9/8 if the show will be noticeable more empty because of all these booking issues.

Just called again to check on Hoop Dee Doo for my dates (December 11-14) and the CM said that they don't show any refurbishments flagged and all the shows are listed, they are just showing as "booked". I shared with her what a problem this is for everyone and she played it off as just them being fully booked up. Anyone else have other information recently when calling?

yea this is so frustrating. that their only reply is that it is popular & is booked! i was so lucky i finally got a person who actually made some phone calls for me to find out the real scoop. still strange they are taking *few* for each evening.
ok, so it is not on the refurbishment list for them to check, but at least,, CM'S check into this if there are people out here who KNOW something is not right.
i put a question on the camping board for someone to check out the venue, so will post if i get an answer, or you can go to that board & comment on the thread.

finally got a hold of someone who knows something.. was told it is NOW in rehab (is anyone there right now that can verify this?) they will not open the reservations fully until they are done. planning on it being until end of october . right now they are using just part of the showroom. strange. i asked why they are still running shows, and they say they still want to manage some smaller,, until it is unmanageable .

If they are doing refurb till the end of October then why can you not even get reservations for February!?

My 180+10 day opened this morning and I'm not able to book any of the shows. It's really frustrating as this is one thing I really want to do on my trip. I still live in hope that I will get a reservation but may have to make contingency plans.

That's precisely where I am at, too. My 180 +10 opened yesterday, and I was really surprised/disappointed that I wasn't able to book this for any day on my trip. Then my logical side took over and I realized there's no way they completely booked every show for every day that week. Then I found this thread, and I at least felt a little better that it isn't just me. I'm just going to keep checking every day or two until I can finally book something.

they told me that until they were SURE it was finished they were not making any new reservations. seems disney told them to tell guests to call back! no answer on why *some* people have reservations .

The refurb answer really doesn't make any sense, since they ARE taking reservations for the 4:00 and 8:30 time slots. In Nov it is only the 6:15 that is not available. So that response sounds like another example of a CM who doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

which dates are you able to see? i have tried dozens of dates, no availability. also had CM check about a dozen random ones. nothing.

I have a 4pm reservation for Friday Nov 11. I haven't checked lately, but when I made that reservation there were plenty of slots available that whole week for 4pm and 8:30, but nothing for 6:15.

Same for me for October. I agree refurb makes no sense when they are booking 4 and 8:30 shows

nothing available for nov 11th.. they must be keeping a few reservations open that they already made, but seems like the renovations would be done by then. i HOPE someone who has reservations SOON can report back after being there.

That's makes absolutely no sense. How would one refinish part of a floor yet serve dinner on the other part? Even if they closed off the balcony seats, refinishing stinks to high heaven - you literally could not do that work and serve food in the same day or even the next day. It also doesn't explain why scattered shows are available.

I think the CMs are grasping at rumors.

We finally got a 6:15 reservation for October 23 about a week and a half ago. Only category 1 was available when we booked it.

Randomly checking, I stumbled on availability for my night, 12/11/16.

Category 1 and 3 for the 4pm show. Only category 3 for the 6:15 and 8:30pm shows.

I booked, but would like category 1 later than 4pm. The search continues.

Also, 12/11/16 is no longer showing any openings after booking. I wonder if I got one someone dropped or the system is just really glitchy.

I have a touring plans notification set to! It did not find it in its search. I just keep up the dining page and refresh every now and then. I will let you know if I see anything else!!

Was able to FINALLY get a 6:15 on 10/11. It's only cat 3 but id rather a normal dinner time and the seating chart doesn't make it seem so bad lol. Thank goodness for the touring plans reservation finder!

At 10:27a Central, just got an alert from Touring Plans for 10/23 @ 6:15. Got it!!! Cat 1
