Hoop De Do

It let me use the dining plan as soon as I got though the initial screens, there was a checked option to use the dining plan or pay. And I believe it's only the 8:30 show that you can use the dining plan on, but I'm not sure.

Oh I didn't realize it was only the 8:30 show that you could use the dining plan! Thanks!

I've been trying to add one person to our reservation and have yet to find anything open. I had to call Hoop De Doo for my original reservation. Fingers crossed I can add one more person.

I wonder if there's any connection between people having difficulty making reservations and a new proposed construction project at Ft. Wilderness:

The article is pretty vague and, even if the new dining facilities are taking place of the existing ones, you'd think they'd keep the existing ones up and running until the new facilities are finished (unless they are being built in the same space).

Hoping that this won't interfere with our plans to go to the HDDR next March.

It's not just 8:30 that you can use the dining plan. You can use the dining plan for any time with category 2 or 3 seating. 8:30 you can use it for category 1 seating with the dining plan.
So I was finally able to book for Jan 3rd earlier this week but I ran into the same thing. Dining plan not accepted at 6:15 show, because only Cat 1 was showing availability. I was only able to book the 8:30 show with the dining plan. I wonder if they only released Cat 1 seats?

Article had wrong photo and now they have pulled the article all together. Over on Rumors board they are saying OBJ picked up on a 2011 permit that Disney withdrew last month ... sounds like a non-researched article.

I'm still on a quest for 6:15 on 11/28. No luck yet! I check a few times each day, and I have Touring Plans checking too. I was encouraged to find this thread - makes me feel like it's not hopeless!

I was able to get a Reservation for HDDR at our 180 day mark for 6:15 p.m. on 12/17. I do however have a back up as I am concerned about the rumor of a refurbishment going on and not having a back up plan BUT

Does anyone else find it odd that they would do a refurb on floors / tables during one of their busiest times like Thanksgiving / Christmas / New Years??

I have seen the speculation of a refurbishment, but I don't think that is it. For our dates both the 4 PM show and the 8:30 show can be booked. How would you manage that?

looking for February dates. any time, but no luck. talked to 2 diff cast members, tried to push that there must be something going on that this is BOOKED,,, oh yea i was told many are booked in an hour of the 180 day opening... but i said you can still always get a seat.. no , was the response if it says no, there is none. arrghh
checked online, good reservations before sept 13th, nothing after, i checked the dates some of recent posters here are booked for. nope, nothing. so weird!

Not sure, but our agent was able to book it right at our 180 day mark...I know I tried to look for an alternate day / time and we were unable to so I kept it that way.

Out of the blue on 8/3/2016 @ 4:37 p.m. I got a alert from touring plans that there was another reservation available for 5 at 6:15 on December 17 again, another for 4 p.m. on December 17, and another for 4 p.m. for December 18.

I know I read that they would be calling to offer an alternate time but we're holding out hope that we are good with 6:15 as the earlier is too early and the later is definitely too late.

I had a similar issue with Ohana! I E-mailed them and told them it was ridiculous that there was NO availability at our 180 day mark. I had already called to double check as well and they said oh well it is one of our most popular restaurants...I told her I was aware that after our first trip and not getting it we always were right on the ball at our 180 day mark for Ohana. Amazingly enough they called me back and said they had looked in my account and found that I was able to secure the reservation. They were going to assist me over the phone had I not. Maybe try E-mailing the general E-mail box?

Just called again to check on Hoop Dee Doo for my dates (December 11-14) and the CM said that they don't show any refurbishments flagged and all the shows are listed, they are just showing as "booked". I shared with her what a problem this is for everyone and she played it off as just them being fully booked up. Anyone else have other information recently when calling?

finally got a hold of someone who knows something.. was told it is NOW in rehab (is anyone there right now that can verify this?) they will not open the reservations fully until they are done. planning on it being until end of october . right now they are using just part of the showroom. strange. i asked why they are still running shows, and they say they still want to manage some smaller,, until it is unmanageable .
