Day 15. 13th of November: D-Day. The d standing for damnit we have to go home.

We woke up semi early. And began to finish the packing. We had most of it done the night before so we finished it up and took the cases to the concierge downstairs. We paid for the movies we rented and the calls we made and wandered off for a last look at I-drive. Whilst there we stopped in the tgi’s sports bar for one last meal. Had a great jack daniels steak and Jessica had the ribs. Few more beers and we went back to the hotel to sit and relax in the bar before the shuttle arrived to pick us up.

The coach journey to the airport was uneventful and boring. Though thankfully checkin was very quick, however they tried to split our seats again which I was not having this time round. Then we went into the lounge and made our way to the Sanford guest house. Before leaving I’d paid the extra tenner each to be allowed in here and boy was it worth it. There was virtually no one in there, 2 free alcoholic drinks each. Unlimited free soft drinks, free cookies, crisps etc, free coffee/tea, a movie room, a kids room, a computer games room, a reading room, and 3 pc’s with net access.

Made the airport experience much more enjoyable and very tranquil.

From here we got on the plane about 45 mins behind schedule. The plane as about the same as the one we flew out on. Good seat pitch. Good leg room. Sound system was a lil jippy but I was tyring to sleep most of the flight anyway.

Landing was smooth and on time despite taking off late. However all the people got off the plane crabby and retarded. Milling in random directions and not using any common sense when stopping places or getting their luggage. But we got out fairly fast and found my parents waiting to drive us home. GOD DAMN was it cold. 0 degrees. Talk about a culture shock. And there we were. Back in blighty again /sigh.

Well that’s the end of the trip reports. Till next time anyway. Will write up a tips and summary post in a lil bit.

they arent proof read or spell checked sorry heh im feeling lazy.
