Honeymoon room at OKW?

We are giving our son a week at DVC for a wedding gift. He has chosen OKW. Does anyone have a recomendation for a room or location with a nice view? He won't have a car, so he will need to be close to the hospitality house. It will be a 1 bedroom.

What a great way to start their marriage!

You can just request a room near HH, but I'd actually suggest building 55- at the far end of the resort. That building has a great secluded view of the wide area of the canal, is next to a quiet pool and transportation is still not an issue since every bus will stop at HH before leaving the resort.

It's not really very important to be near the HH. It's not a far walk from anywhere and all buses will take you there if you don't feel like the exercise. On the way back, just get on a bus at the Peninsular stop (across the road from the pool) and it will take you home again. Any 1-bedroom will be a terrific honeymoon vacation. They might enjoy it if you ask for something with a golf course view. They could have breakfast and/or evening drinks on the balcony overlooking the golf course.

I woudl definetly have them make note that it is a honeymoon so your request will be filled.

I agree..... Building 55 - very romantic - that is if they like water..... the wildlife here is pretty wonderful too - saw my first eagle at WDW here....

Thank you for your response. It sounds like building #55 is just what he is looking for. Is there a pool close by?

Yes, the quiet pool and hot tub are just outside the door! Building 55 is our favorite too. We have stayed there several times. The bus stop is close as well.

Oh yes, and the walkway to DTD is just out the back door!

Building 55 is great - In fact my deed says that's where I own. Hope they can stay there and enjoy the convenience of the pool and bus stop close by as well as many happy years together.
