We just made dinner reservations for almost each night we are in Disney. We tried to pick the most 'romantic' restaurants. Definitely open to any other suggestions????? We are only staying on property for 5 of the 11 nights we'll be down there but are willing to eat at Disney even if it's before we stay there!

Night 1: Narcoossee's
Night 2: Planet Hollywood (we figure we'd go here since we get the $15 coupon with our package, but we don't know for lunch of dinner, depending on what other suggestions for restaurants? It's not really 'romantic' LOL.
Night 3: Coral Reef
Night 4: Cinderella's Royal Table
Night 5: Victoria & Alberts

I was gonna say California Grill. Oo, and Jiko, yea! Also, The Yachtsman and maybe the Flying Fish. Umm...SciFi Cafe can be cute/romantic. Where else, where else...does The Living Seas still do dinners, or is that just for receptions? Umm...Tony's Town Square can be cuz of Lady&The Tramp (esp. if you go as a couple, they'll give you a quiet table). Where else...did you say in the castle already?

We found Jiko to be very romantic. One of our best dinners!

I completely 100% agree with Jiko!! The food and service were excellent while we were there, and they gave us a congratulations card with their best wishes in each of their native languages. It was too cool for school!!

We found LeCellier to be romantic and Le Chefs de France. the pic in my sig is our free champagne toast at LeCellier two days after our wedding.

I had a horrible, very bad, no good experience at LeCellier! But I think it was our waiter who was just rotten. Am I the only one?

(I will say that cheese soup is mah-va-lous!! :cloud9:)

On our honeymoon we had a sweetheart dinner at Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge and it was amazing! It was a very nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. It was the best meal we had the whole trip. :goodvibes

Citricos! You can get a dessert that looks like this:

If I can make a strange recommendation, the 50's Cafe at DHS. Every time we go there we get a ton of attention(since all the server are cousins) I would bet telling them you are getting/just got married it would be a lot of fun and they would make a big deal. fun can also be romantic.

as you can see my "cousin" is making me finish my veggies .

Definitely not alone. I had lunch on my birthday there, and the waiter served DBF a plate that contained bacon (he was a vegetarian and we made this known!). Luckily I insisted on having a taste first, and realize there was bacon in it. We were really disappointed.

We love Artist's Point though. While it can be expensive, the food is to die for, and very romantic! It is usually pretty quite as well, as some of the restaurants you listed tend to be on the louder side.

One extra I would like to throw in there is Les Chefs de France. While the seating is very compact, we thought it was pretty romantic, and the food is WONDERFUL for the cheap price for lunch!

I actually thought Kona was pretty romantic. The inside of the poly is so beautiful, and if you go at 5:00 it isn't busy. We were there during christmas, when everything is packed, and it was the only place that was somewhat quite, and I remember it being kid free.

I'm interested in this thread as well. We are trying to pick some nice restaurants. We know we are going to Coral Reef and Mama Melroses... we were thinking of going to one of the resort restaurants. Not sure though. We are wanting some romantic places but not wanting to spend $100 a plate though. This thread will be very helpful I"m sure!!

In my personal experience, Mama Melrose was not romantic at all. I thought it was really loud, the tables were really close together, and it was by far the worst service we had on our trip. The food was good though. This might just be a fluke, but I just feel that a lot of the restaurants in the parks are full of tired families yelling at each other :rotfl:

Well.. I've heard mixed reviews on Mama Melrose. All of our restaurants don't have to be romantic really. From what I've read most of the more romantic/nice places are outside the parks. I actually wanted to do 50s prime time at Hollywood Studios..that's where I went last time. But DFi doesn't really want to for some reason.

I'm definitely open to any suggestions!!

At DHS, we love the Hollywood Brown Derby. It's quiet and romantic and the food is great! You can also get the latest time for a F! package there, 5 pm. We also really liked Sci Fi, the atmosphere is great and if you stick to basic food you'll be fine.

Our other favorites: Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch), Tutto Italia (I think this is the best restaurant in Epcot, we've been to Le Cellier and weren't impressed and had a bad experience at Chefs); Jiko;

We love Jiko, Narcoossee's and Le Cellier. They were our favorites from our honeymoon trip and they are on our ADR list for our 1st anniversary trip in May.
