Honeymoon at ???

FH and I have never been to Universal, and after talking to several co-workers, peers, etc...we are thinking about changing our WDW ressies. We have 3 days booked at the CR, but are thinking of changing those 3 nights to Universal. The questions I have are:
where to stay?
which type of room to get, obvisouly a king?
Any special requests to be made?
Best discounts for rooms, we have AAA and can sign up for Lowes card?

FHY has heard alot about Portifino Bay, whats it like?
Appreciate any advise!!!

PBH would be my choice for a honeymoon stay.

It's gorgeous and the piazza is romantic at night. The high-end restaurant there, Bice, is not as romantic as the Delfino Riviera which used to be in the same space, but it'll do. Ask to dine on the terrace is the weather's nice.

Try for a room with a balcony. I once had one in the villa wing with a balcony overlooking the pool. Fabulous!

Ok, I LOVE WDW... I hven't stayed at PBH yet~ but from what I have seen & read it might be more romantic then the CR (and I have stayed there twice). I can be a better judge once we get back in September, but the PBH is modeled after Portofino, Italy ~ one of the most romatic cities on the planet
