Yeah we know how long fish last at our house.

I don't see the option that should be listed:
Forget chores and DIS!
That's the one I always choose!![]()
I need to make this post so I can put a picture in my next one.
And don't forget loose and light-weight - it's HOT down here!
What to wear? I think we're going simple on this trip.
OMG, even the mere mention of zucchini bread makes me salivate! Also the zucchini are taking over... maybe some zucchini bread could come with us too.
I know it's kind of late in the game now, but if you guys need replacements, ebags is running some GREAT sales lately! What suitcases to use?
POP QUIZ TIME:
I really need to...

B. Make a grocery list
C. Get a life
D. All of the above.

I know we're just going to wilt. Do you have any pull down there to cool it down a bit?! Pretty please?!And don't forget loose and light-weight - it's HOT down here!![]()
I made a couple of loaves and they turned out super yummy... the recipe has crushed pineapple and raisins in it.OMG, even the mere mention of zucchini bread makes me salivate!![]()
Thanks for the heads up! We'll be moochers for this trip and then we'll have to invest in some better stuff. Guess the Target clearance rack didn't hold up it's end of the bargain!I know it's kind of late in the game now, but if you guys need replacements, ebags is running some GREAT sales lately!
Ohh Goodness! First of all, I didn't see any lanyards or pins at the MOA Disney store.
I think there is something a little fishy about your whole packing list. Are you planning on having a Coy Pond in our hotel room as decoration?
Here's what I'm thinkin'.....

This is more accurate for our house:

This was in a different town, but we were on a roll so we had to stop...

Our prize at the end of the trip was seeing some dear friends- We all used to live in Duluth, but the other 2 families have moved some distance away. It was fun to see their kids and have a fun weekend together of swimming and getting caught up.

Then a couple of weeks ago a bunch of families from church went to a family's cabin. The kids wore themselves out swimming, kayaking, and kept their energy up by filling up on s'mores.

Fun photo montage of your summer! You have been busy! Can't believe you are almost under a week for Disney! Hurray!![]()
We thought about going the day before we leave, DH couldn't get off of work until noon so we won't get down there until 3pm and we didn't want to wear ourselves out knowing what we'll be doing the next day. I'll miss going... I was a 4-Her growing up (not a livestock kind of 4-Her, we were city folk!) and spent many days wandering the fair with friends and nights in the dorms up on the top floor of the 4-H building. Good times, good times. The wait is a bummer...At least you have kept yourselves nice and busy this summer! Now we know summer is almost completed, the nights are cooling down and the STATE fair is almost here! Will you get a chance to go before your trip?
That stinks. I was seeing all these threads talking about super cheap pin/lanyard starter sets at Disney Stores so I was hoping we'd have the same luck. When I was at the MOA Disney Store a few months ago I was sorely disappointed. There were no lanyards, no pins, only like 3 adult t-shirts, none of which were on sale. And only a couple baby shirts as well.![]()
He lets no typo go un-noticed...I didn't even catch the "carp" reference!!!!!!!!!
Ahhhh...gotta love Minnesota. Weird large sculptures, lots of lakes and bonfires.![]()
I second that!I love your summer photo collage. I HATE that summer is coming quickly to a close. Usually I'm ready for fall by mid-August, but this year we didn't get summer until late June/early July! 6 stinking months of snow.It better not be that way this winter. Ugh.
It was the Carlton Co fair, my "home" county, my 4-H stomping grounds. Believe it or not, I had nothing on a stick... just a burger, some mini-donuts, and a super yummy fresh squeezed lemonade. You went to the fair---the State fair? Has that started yet? I can't recall the dates you said you were going...If so, what did you eat on-a-stick?
TODAY IS SINGLE DIGIT DANCE DAY!!!!

Where is that largest ball of twine? We gotta get ourselves there one of these days!
Some friends of ours always find some weird large sculpture type thing each year and have their Christmas card photo taken with it. They're hilarious to get!

ROAD TRIP!It's VERY near my house, only about 30 minutes away located in Darwin, Minnesota. It's super neat-o, espeically when you listen to the Weird Al song while traveling to the Twine Ball.![]()
So far DH and I have had both years done with a computer since we are techy nerds.
We went to that one at the Dells this past April when we went with a group of friends to the Wilderness! We bought Junior a couple of t-shirts and we found a Red Power Ranger action figure for a couple of bucks, something Junior had been longing for. All the friends we were there with were the friends we're thinking about doing a Disney trip with.... we went to the Outlet Mall, split up and did our shopping, but all managed to end up at the Disney Store at the same time! It was calling to us....As I was making my breakfast just a few minutes ago I was thinking about the lack-o-lanyards and discount tees at the Disney Store at the MOA. I found myself wishing we lived closer to Albertville-the GIGUNDA outlet mall....thinking they must have an outlet store there. I Googled it, only to find they don't!The closest one to us appears to be in Baraboo, WI (by the Dells).
