Homemade Laundry Detergent??

I have a question for others who make their own detergent.... I make my own laundry detergent with Borax (laundry booster). I found a deal on Biz, which is also a laundry booster. Do you think the Biz could be subsituted for the Borax?? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!!

And I have a ? on the laundry detergent- does yours suds up? My clothes seem clean but I don't get bubbles in my washer as the wash is going.

No, my laundry detergent does not suds up. One of the links I had for the recipe said not to be alarmed, it would clean, but you would not get as many suds.

I had a $2 off coupon and found a form for a money back guarantee - so I got a big box for basically free. Thought I would try it and see if it works.

Let me know how it works. In college I had a friend nicknamed Biz - turns out he was a messy kid and his mom could only get his clothes clean with Biz- so they started calling him Biz and it stuck!
So it must work.

In theary it should work; I mean they're both boosters, right? I use Borox but if I needed to make my laundry soap and I couldn't then I would think it would be okay to use the Biz. However, make just a small amount in case it turns out not to be what you expected or like it is when you use Borox. Let me know how it goes.

I also wanted to say I'm so glad to see that I'm not the only one on the Dis who makes her own laundry detergent. I've been doing so for the past few months and I love it; works just as good as store brands. I like that it's better for the enviroment and for my kids sensitive skin.
