Homecomin' Walk-up

Hi all! Homecoming is one of our must dos and we usually have a reservation. For some reason, I've been unable to snag one for our Feb trip. Have any of you had any luck as a walk-in. I'm fine with putting my name on a list and having an hour wait. Just wasn't sure if they didn't welcome walkups. Thanks!

We walked up at Thanksgiving with no trouble. And we lucked out with no wait! Enjoy your trip!

Maybe someone can confirm but I think most DS restaurants hold back space for walk-ups and external reservations to Disney?

Good luck! Never been there before but just watched DFB put it on their list of places of must try in 2020.

They hold a lot of space for walk-ups + you almost always can immediately grab a seat at the bar.

Yes, we’ve had good luck with this, especially for lunch. Generally a 1/2 hour wait or less.

I find that the restau in Disney Springs take only so mamy reservations and have room for walk ups; the resorts not so much. Also with regard to DS, what you can’t find on MDE, you can often find on Open Table and with no penalty if you cancel late.

We walked up yesterday (1/3) at about 11:45 and were seated immediately.

If there is room at the bar, you can sit and eat there. We've done it a few times, but also had to put our name down for about a 40 min. wait once.

You may want to check again. I couldn't find a res at all during Feb break week and set a Touring Plans Reservation Finder. Yesterday I had three notifications in a row that the time I wanted was available. Maybe they opened more up?

Yes, Thanks!! I saw this. Looks like they opened the whole week up. I was able to grab a 7pm on the night that I wanted.

Been trying to go to Homecomin for years but DH always makes me cancel it. Finally went in December and we all loved it. Didn't care much for the fried chicken though. But loved everything else. On our to-return list now!

We have had luck at many DS restaurants with just walk up We haven't tried this at the really popular times to know if that still works.
In park restaurants, walk up rarely works.

In November and December, I walked up to Brunch between 9:30 and 10:30 and was seated immediately both times.

? For Homecomin can you walk in and get a piece of hummingbird cake to go ?
