I just got back from the MNSSHP. I went with my sister. We hadn't planned on getting candy but did wind up getting about 1/2 bag full between the two of us. Figured the grandkids would like some more junk...
As we walked under the train station they were handing out empty bags saying they would make great scrapbook pages, but we don't scrapbook and they were just ads for TS3 and Beauty and the Beast.
Then just as we were going out the turnstiles there were some CMs handing out bags full to the top with candy, giving two bags full to each person.
They said they overbought and since tonight was the last night they had to get rid of it.
It was mostly the chocolate flavored stuff wrapped in halloween foil, the yucky stuff so I didn't take any, but there were people walking out with 2 or more bags each.
I can't imagine having that much candy to pack and bring home, but there were some who definately got their candy fix for the entire year.

I guess they had lots left over since they weren't being so generous on the other nights. I'm much better off though, I have little willpower over chocolate sitting in my house.

exactly in years passed lots of candy on nights.....we went the 26th...not much at all.

I went last year and between my DD and I TOT at the park, we came home with 7 lbs of candy. Don't ask me how since we went on every ride too that night and did the dessert party too.

Yeah, they seemed to be a little light handed in giving out candy this year on the 22nd. But, like you said, we're all better off-- chocolate is too good and it wouldn't have survived long here at my house anyways.

EDIT: we went in 2007 and got a TON of candy. We had our bags topped off at the end and they handed out Hersey's Kissables. I was hoping for something like that again this year but that's okay!
