So we booked our flight to Sanford Airport through Jets Go for 4 adults and 1 child as baby is free!
We looked at Air Canada from TO to Mco and it was $2395.00. That was $365.00/ per person and did not include cost of 18 months old taxes!!!
At JetsGo, we got 4 adults and 1 child for $1557.00, with no cost for baby! That's $138.00/ person before taxes. A difference of $227/person! It was a Hot Fare Deal! $69/ person each way!
Also the plane was empty so we were able to book seats in the first aisle so i won't have to lug our disabled daughter down the aisle to the crappy seats we always get!
WOW!!!!! We saved over $1100 on the flight alone! We also saved another $1000 + buy booking with the Canadian @par deal through Visa for 2 rooms @ Pop Century!
I realize that JetsGo is a No Frills ... and if you want their sancks, you have to pay but they don't charge you more than a convience store would and their selection is ok!!!
Any experiences on JetsGo and how long is the drive from Sanford to Dsney? I heard another 10- 15 minutes if you take the 417 ( toll road).

We are booked on Jets Go too! And staying at Pop Century.
It is incredible how much cheaper they are.
I think Sanford is around an hour away. I checked into towncar service and they are about $160 round trip, including car seat and grocery stop.
This will be our first time on JetsGo. I'd like to hear if anyone else has flown them to Orlando.
When are you going?

We are going in May but have changed our ressies from POP Century to Caribbean Beach resort. Like the fact that they have beaches with hammocks, playgrounds on the beach, and quiet pools at each building!

Try to stay in Martinique 25 or 26 building! You will be close to everything!

Happy Planning!

Sanford is about 50-60 mins from Disney. It took us about 40mins from SeaWorld, but that included a 10min stop for gas, snacks etc. It was a very easy drive down the I-4 to Lake Mary Blvd, which takes you directly to the airport. Sanford is a very easy airport to navigate. We would have been out of the airport in no time, if it had occured to me to go pick up the rental car instead of all of us waiting for the luggage to come out, and then going to get the car.

We fly out of Syracuse NY to Sanford. Tickets are $65. US each way for a direct flight with Transmeridian. With taxes that comes to under $300 US for two return tickets.

The airports at both ends are small and so manageable. You never have to walk far with your luggage.

We always use a towncar to get to Disney, and the trip takes just under an hour.

Considering how much walking you have to do at MCO, I would bet that time from landing at MCO to arrival at Disney is longer than from Sanford.

We love Sanford.

It's about an hour away from WDW and the toll road is a few bucks, but when you consider parking, walking to your gate, the MCO monorail, etc., etc., and the savings on tickets, we believe you come out way ahead with w flight into Sanford.
