Today was our 180 days, so I was online at 6am, and I actually got Coral Reef at 6:55 pm. We were there last Sept. and I couldn't get it for any time at all. Let me say this, it's not my fav restaurant, but it is my elderly mom's fav, and I was pretty upset I couldn't secure it for her last time, so I was determined and lo and behold I got it. That is one tough ADR to get.

Congrats!
I book my ADRs next week and that is on my list. We have never been and I am hearing mixed reviews on it so I am a little unsure about it right now.
Hoping others can chime in and share their thoughts if it's worth going with an 8 and 10 year old.

We ate there last month. It was a pretty good meal, I had the lobster ravioli and I thought it was horrible though. Everything else was really good, I was the only one to make the mistake to order that, it didn't taste fresh, and it taste like something frozen, like very processed. The appetizer came out really fast and wasn't as hot as we would have like, but it was still good. The main meal took a bit long, but maybe its cause we got our appetizers so fast

I reserved Coral Reef this morning 180 days out and got it for 6:05. I put in 6 pm and it said it searched between 4 and 8 pm and that's the only time that came up. I got Ohana yesterday at 180 days out and got 6:50 (also requested 6 pm). I'm doing it all online each morning through Monday for each of our days.

Wow! When we've gone we were walk ins and were seated in a few minutes. Lucky I guess? Good for you! Enjoy! I've always enjoyed myself there.

My kids love to watch the fish. A welcome distraction while DH and I catch our breath, cool off and have a glass of wine. :thumbsup2

We have gone to Coral Reef every trip...my DD9  this one. We go here for lunch but have been for dinner. The food is fine...not outstanding but definately eatable.

One year I was even able to arrange for a diver to go in the tank and hold up a Happy Birthday sign to my DD9...she was MESMERIZED!!!! I don't think they do this anymore though...how sad because it was definately a special touch.

I think you might still be able to get the personalized menu...I am not certain...can anyone else chime in on this???:confused3 I did it for my DD9 (who was 7 at the time)...I sent photos of her and they created a menu just for her with her name. She actually thought MICKEY and MINNIE found out she was there and sent it to her!!!!:rotfl2::rolleyes1:hug:

We have definately had some great memories at Coral Reef and never hesitate to return. It can get booked quickly though.

We had so much fun at Coral Reef. My suggestions are to go a bit early and be flexible. Our party of 8 wanted to sit by the tank, we told them we didn't mind a short wait (15 minutes) and then were offered and accepted two tables right next to each other. We were able to talk and eat together, and it was a really magical experience for anyone who loves the aquarium things. Honestly, the food was fine but not memorable, but the experience was great!
