We plan to go to DisneyQuest following our DHS day.

I know there are no direct buses and we dont have a car.
Are there taxis outside the park that could take us?
Any idea on price?

There are taxis available. You can take the boat to the Swan and then catch the bus to DTD and avoid the expense of a taxi.

I would guess that it's going to be about $20 plus tip. It'll probably take about 20 minutes (although, with the current construction, it might be harder to get into the DTD area).

According to TaxiFareFinder.com, it's should be under $15, but I like to estimate high to be safe.

As the PP mentioned, you could also take the friendship boat from DHS to the Swan/Dolphin and then catch the bus to DTD. I would allow about an hour if you plan to do this. The boat ride is only about 7 minutes, but if you just miss the boat, it could be up to 20 minutes until the next one arrives. Same for the buses; the ride itself is okay (you might have to stop at the Dolphin and/or Boardwalk before heading to dTD), but you have to allow time in case you just miss the bus (another 15 minutes or so). So all in all, I'd allow at least an hour if you're going to use Disney transportation. You can also walk from DHS to the Swan or Dolphin. It's a little less than a mile.

Walk, but not to the Swan or Dolphin, the Boardwalk is the closest, just take the pathway around the waterway and after you go under the overpass the Boardwalk is right there.Once you see the Luna Park pool walk into it and go through the hallway with the bathrooms and game room, then take the stairs up to the lobby and out to the bus stop,10-15 minute walk from DHS,now you just have to wait for the bus.

Another option would be to bus to either OKW, SSR, POFQ or POR and take the boat to DTD from there. In my experience, the boats from these resorts run pretty frequently at night. I know we once walked from Epcot to Beach Club to catch the DTD bus and not only did it take forever for the bus to come, but we also stopped at BWI so it added a few minutes. YMMV.
