It seems this beleaguered attraction finally opened for employee testing last night. Rumours are that soft openings start today at 2pm.

Ok so I don't mind admiting that I got goose bumps from watching that! I CANNOT WAIT to have a go in January!!!

Do you embark on it from one of the themeparks or in City Walk? I couldn't find any info about it on the US website.

We were teased last week by it running constantly, but empty.

The entrance is in US and it only extends a little way into city walk - from what I'd read I had visions of it going over city walk rather than into a little fenced off area next to Hard Rock Cafe.

Talk about bad timing as we were at the studios yesterday!! It was going round most of the day but with noone in it. Will have to go back now as dh is desperate to ride it, you couldn't pay me to go on it tho!

I'm glad it's finally looking like it's nearly ready for opening!

I am pleased that they are making progress with this. For a while, I was thinking that it wouldn't be open by the time we went in less than three weeks.

Just a quick post from RPR to say we managed to ride rip ride rocket last night and was very impressed, The wait time was supposed to be 3 hours but went in single rider line and was on within about 20 minutes - well worth the wait: up2
