I hesitate to write this; however, I just ask if the responses can please be gentle. My child and I ate at Hollywood and Vine on 10/10. We both ordered the turkey meal. We both had salad (no dressing), roll, mashed potato, and turkey. My child had very little salad. Within about 30 minutes of starting to eat, we (within 5 minutes of each other) became quite sick. We didn't finish the meal, paid, and left. We tried to walk it off a bit; however, we couldn't and were feeling very unwell. We were supposed to fly home the next day and couldn't fly at that time. I'll spare you all the details of our symptoms. I'm asking if anyone else around that time experienced this. Again, I really appreciate your gentle responses. Thank you.

I haven't been to Disney recently, so can't speak to that, but often food poisoning takes longer than 30 minutes. What did you have for breakfast that day? Or even the night before? So sorry you had to experience this - being sick at Disney is no fun.

We did not have anything the same prior. Also, some food poisoning can hit very quickly.

OP, Did you talk with the manager at all. That's important information for a restaurant because if the DO have a problem in the kitchen, they don't want it to continue for guests. Not scolding you, just saying that managers want to know that kind of information. We actually love H&V since they changed the menu, but that doesn't mean that they couldn't ever have a problem. I hope you and your child got over whatever it was quickly.

OP - I had food poisoning after a meal at Rose & Crown many years ago. It was horrible & it took me more than a day to shake it off, so I can appreciate how terrible you must have felt.

We did not report it to a manager. We were so sick that I couldn't really imagine having stayed back to try to talk to someone. We were trying to get back to our hotel room and it was difficult. I did consider trying to notify them afterwards; however, I didn't know how to reach them (no phone number).

I'm sorry you had that happen. It's been unpleasant. We had to reschedule the flight twice, move hotels, and just try to wait it out.
