Hollywood and Vine dinner

How is this? I was origioanlly booked for 50's prime time, which I really wanted to do, and then realized about an hour later, that I don;t think we could make it as our flight would arrive to late for us to rush there, tried to chage it to later, and it is full the rest of the day, but Hollywood and vine was open. I see it's a buffet. Is it good. Any better or worse than other buffets? We've done Chef Mickeys andcrystal palace and 1900parkfair in the past few years. All were good, but not exceptional. We are doing CP again though this year, as DD said she wanted to see Pooh again. I tend to pick resturants with the same foods (or similar) and last DH told me he was getting sick of chicken ad ribs after about 3 nights of it. LOL!
Though I did book HDDR and WCC, which kind of have similar menus and are back to back. OOPS! LOL!

Let's just say that you could not pay us to eat there. We've gone twice--both times terrible service, bad food, filthy restaurant and bathroom. Now, you will get a bunch of people who love it and say it is a typical buffet. I've had better food at McDonalds.

Agree completely! The first time we went a few years ago it was ok - after our 2008 visit - never again.

Thanks for the replies. My sister is going there this week for breakfast, so I'll ask her too, but that is a totally different experience as well, since that is character. I am thinking of myabe trying for scifi instead? I don;t know if it will have any openings for when we want though as we go in early March.
