Okay Susan I figured out the sketch I will be using for my page groups.

Group 9A- Sketch 9

Group 8B- Sketch 2. Also can I change my topic to "Visit With Santa".

Susan I have a question on sketch 8:

On the bottom of the photo mats where the semi circle is located on the mat would we need to and an embellisment there where one could slide the photo under it? Or is it a spot for journaling?

Hmmm... to me it looks like they cut they photo, but that really wouldn't work for us. It definitely does not have to be a journal spot - -it can be an embellishment.


OOhhh you know what would work there? In CDS, weld a circle to a square, so just a semi circle shows. THen you could score along the diameter to fold the cirlce part up - -then you wouldn't have to worry about how to attach it - -you really can't write on something that has been popped up. This piece would be the bottom layer of the mat.

This also might be the one instance it would be okay to include items that need to be attached by the recipient. You could make tabs/mini-tags that can be written on and then adhered. Yes?

I agree. I"ll write this by the sketch too

options:
1. any embellishment - -flower button, ribbon
2. a jounaling spot to be adhered by the recipient - -these would have to in a separate bag, paper clipped to the page if possible
3. weld a tab to write on in CDS

Not to be a brat but I avoid mini kits like the plague....The only thing I dislike in scrapbooking is photo mats and journal boxes and if it's not evident enough I LOVE making tags.

Couple of quickies - due to my haste signing up I was not sufficiently clear - for the mini kits it should have read "group: Halloween, title: pumpkins" (sorry!)

and if by close there are still only two of us for vintage Christmas, I for one am happy to combine with the B christmas group above (if acceptable to all, of course) to give a full group But there's probably loads of ladies still pondering so no pont doing anthing till sign-ups close (but I am out most of the weekend so I didn't want anyone waiting on me)
