Update on mailing- we are STILL icied in. It looks like it might be Saturday before we are finally out of this deep freeze, so some of this stuff can melt. At this rate even if I could get out the PO is not open because of all the bad roads.

Received packages from dorecruise and wdwmickey (2 boxes) today. I opened Elaine's envelope - - more great pieces from a newcomer! I will post photos, hopefully today. Cheryl -- I didn't open your boxes yet, but they are in perfect condition.

I know many of you are stuck at home in the snow and will miss the mail date. I will not be sorting until Jan 24th. THere is still plenty of time for the packages to arrive. Thanks for keeping me posted.

I mailed out mine today and sent you DC number via PM. This was a lot of fun but now I have to take a hiatus from swapping as my New Years Resolution was to get a little bit caught up on my actual scrapbooking!

We have just had school called off for tomorrow again! The USPS is saying they might resume service on Friday, so I will keep you posted.

I can't get out of my own driveway, let alone down the steep hill to the post office or back. Hoping the roads will be cleared tomorrow so I can get out. And that boys can go back to school.

We're snowed in today... I expect to be able to get to the PO tomorrow... the snow doesn't usually keep us stuck for more than a day... I'll let you know for sure (and pm you the DC) once it's on its way...

28 inch snow drifts in the driveway. I got out after the plow guy but the PO was closed. I headed in the other direction and one little grocery store was open, so I got milk.

Hopefully they will be open tomorrow but the road conditions are supposed to get worse.

I wasn't able to mail today-roads are still pretty bad (I'm like 30 min. away from MickeyTeacher). They called off school for tomorrow too. I'll get it out tomorrow or Friday, as soon as I can.

We didn't get it as bad as the rest of you. I think 8 inches.

I went outside to shovel my walk (DH is away). Someone had already shoveled it! I live on a corner -- you can park about 8 or 9 cars along the side, and I guess about 7 along the front --- it was all shoveled! I have no idea who did it for me. I had only my top set of steps in both the front and back to shovel (the mystery person did the bottom sets of steps) and my car to shovel out. I wish I knew who to thank.
