Holiday World discount tickets

We were there on the 5th and 6th. On the 5th (Sat) my parents heard some workers say they expected 12000 and only had about 7000 on the 4th. Saturday was a little crowded, especially in the water park. The 6th wasn't crowded at all in either park. We talked to a worker on Sunday and he said it was dead. He also said Sat. and Monday are the busiest days--not Sunday. And it seems it's just not as crowded there over the summer holidays. Go figure.

We're back!

It is a very nice park. I'm getting too old for this stuff, lol. I feel like someone has beat me to death. We had a great time though.

We did the Raven and the Legend first thing, then headed for SS. It was already PACKED. We stayed there until 5 then headed back to HW. There was a little bit of thunder and lightening so they closed the pools and rides for 30 minutes or so. The crowds started thinning out then. By this time I was worn out, so I didn't ride anything else. DD7 had a blast though. DD16 and DD14 had gone off to ride the Voyage and loved it.

We were there from open until close and I feel like I didn't even see or do a fraction of the stuff. A good time was had by all, so that is all that matters.

Wow, this thread is great. We are going to Holiday World for the first July 24-26th (Thurs-Sat). We are three families, staying in three of the RV rentals.

I would love any advice on must do's or other advice from veterns.

Thanks.

The rental RV's are great!!! We stayed in them for Fathers Day weekend. You are also smart to do the parks on Thursday and Friday especially. They are definitely less busy than the weekend days! DEFINITELY do the Voyage if you can handle coasters!! It is the BEST coaster I have ever been on(probably why it has been voted best wooden coster on the planet!!). You will LOVE Holiday World. We go every summer. It has kind of become a tradition, and my kids are 11 and 7. They love Splashin Safari also. The tube rides are AWESOME!!! Can you tell I am a big Holiday world fan??? The free soft drinks are a big plus as well!!! Enjoy and let us know how your visit goes!

We live closer to six flags st louis and their season passes are only $49.99 right now - half of holiday worlds. Does anyone know if they will go down at all?

Holy thread resurrection! We were season pass holders in 2010, so we get their information all the time. Without looking and off the top of my head, if you get a season pass for next year before this season ends it is $99. Then it goes up to $129ish until about that this time. Then it goes up to $149. Those are approximate, but have never seen as low as $49. I've been to Six Flags though, and like Holiday Worl much better.

We burnt ourselves out in 2010 with season passes (goining 10+ times) so didn't go in 2011. I'm ready to go back this year though!
