I was worrying a bit about buying MVMCP tickets in advance and then hitting an ice cold night! How much more is it to buy the tickets the day of the event? My problem is I would be sweating them selling out!!! LOL!

My DH and I are also arriving the Saturday after Thanksgiving! I've been to WDW many many times, but never during the holidays. There was a show on Travel Channel that inspired me (not that I needed much persuasion) to book our vacation (DH's first trip to Disney!) at WDW. I'm so excited, I can hardly stand it, and I'm driving DH CRAAAAZY!! We're staying at POR...keep an eye on Mousesavers.com around June/July, they should be running codes for the holiday season around then..Maybe you can get a good rate at an AS and stay on-site.

We stayed at POR last April---boy did we LOVE it! We were in AB. Welcome to the OC early December nobody-else-understands-our-excitement group!

We went on the 19th this year and it was cold (low 40's)! Check here for temperature records.


I know they sold out (overheard at check-in), but don't know when. It wasn't too bad as you walked around, waiting for the fireworks was chilly. They sell coffee and cocoa which help.

I've stayed at POR (back when it was DxL, so forgive me if I slip up and call it that!!) in the AB, also..I'm not sure if we're staying there or in MB. I think for convenience it'd be easier to stay at AB, but I'm not sure yet. All I know is I can't wait.

I hope my DH can tolerate my incessant Disney babble for the next 306 days!!
