Holiday Tips and Tricks??

Hello Everyone,

I'm going to visiting WDW the second week in December and it will be my first time visiting during the holidays!! I'll be traveling with my boyfriend - we're both in our 30's with no kids. I'm SUPER excited and looking for suggestions to make the most of our trip!

What's your can't miss holiday favorite??

Favorite holiday photo spot?

Best holiday souvenir?

I like it all. You have the Candlelight Processional in Epcot, Illuminations with the special Peace on Earth ending in Epcot, Osborn Lights in Hollywood Studios, MVMCP and the Castle in MK when the lights are on. Also, we enjoy seeing the decorations at the deluxe resorts. Our favorite is the Grand Floridian. There's a life size ginger bread house that sells gingerbread. There's a piano going with Christmas songs on the main floor and an orchestra that will play from the balcony. It's enjoyable to go to the pier and watch the fireworks go off from MK, too.

DW and I have been every year since '93 during the second week of Dec. DW's birthday week and our chance to get away and enjoy the holidays for ourselves.
PP mention all the top viewing spots in the parks. The resorts are the treats for us.
Do a walking tour of the EPCOT resorts - BW, BC, YC, Swan, and Dolphin.
Do a monorail tour of the MK resorts be sure to have a drink in the lobby of GF while listening ot the music.
AKL/AKV are completely different due to the themeing.
For pictures:
DTD has Santa and singers/bands appear almost nightly on the stage.
AKL for the very large Christmas tree.
The carosel made out of chocolate in the BC lobby.
