Sir Paul can do no wrong!!There is nothing wrong with Wonderful Christmas Time. It's a good song.
There, I said it.
I agree with you!

Fra Gee Lay topic.....better hold your tongue"A Christmas Story" being a holiday tradition. It was a BOMB at the box office in 1983. In 1997 Turner Broadcasting was looking for an inexpensive movie to use for a holiday movie marathon. It is a CULT film now, just like Rocky Horror Picture best watched while intoxicated.
Elf on a Shelf is another.
Now that tradition I can get behind!I don't usually care about seeing those pictures either, but I have to say my great niece had a brilliant idea with her kid's EotS. Her kids have a boy & girl elf. When my niece got them out, she immediately put them in a 2 week quarantine.![]()
cause every time you leave a store they are ringing there bells wanting money

This is a year round thing with Kohl's."....so if buy $40.00 worth of merch I get a $10.00 off coupon on my next purchase, but only if that purchase is on a Tuesday thru Thursday time slot of 3:00 to 6:00 and not on seasonal merch but a few select items in the far corner of the store....and the coupon expires in a week."

Simply having a wonder....There is nothing wrong with Wonderful Christmas Time. It's a good song.

The usual stuff.
People clogging up the aisles conjugating as though they couldn't possibly be in the way.
"Je parle"I think you mean congregating, but that gave me a funny visual.
Ha, I'm the complete opposite. I hate seeing people spend their money to buy things I will never use so I would prefer they ask. I'm also an aspiring minimalist who hates clutter so I would rather have the 1 item I want instead of 10 that I'm indifferent to.My rant is people who always want ideas of what to buy you or your kids for Christmas. I think the gift should be something you thought the person would like based on what you know about the person. I guess if the relative lives far away and doesn't really know the kids then it would be understandable. But in my case, the people live right next door to us. I think it's just lazy.

I mentioned last year I believe on the DIS but my mom was like basically like "I love you but I'm kinda over the knick knack stuff"....which I was actually relieved to hear lol. This year for her birthday we got her a Costco membership (paid for the first year) and I went with her to get it all set up. She's been wanting a Costco membership for a while so she doesn't have to always go with me.Ha, I'm the complete opposite. I know it's about the thought but I wish they would give me a candy bar or something instead. At least I wouldn't have to feel bad seeing that ugly dress shirt hanging in the closet.
You'll see all kinds of activity during the holidays!I think you mean congregating, but that gave me a funny visual.
