Are the menus aboard ship different around the holidays? The food is getting a little monotonous after four cruise of the same Wonder menus. It’s almost become a deal breaker for future DCL cruises.

Christmas menu served on December 25, 2023, Night 4 of 4 on the Wish.

New Year’s Eve menu was served on Night 2 of 3 on the Wish. All guests missed one of the 3 standard rotation menus.

I list those because I wondered how they would handle it on shorter cruises.

Back in 2018, on a 7-N Magic cruise from NYC, they offered the 3 rotation menus, Pirate Night, Thanksgiving, Til We Meet Again - and an open seating night due to guests being at WDW. What a cruise.

they sure do like that potted chicken liver parfait appetizer for holidays
Can I say Ugh? So a cruise over Christmas and NYE would allow you two opportunities to pass on it? I guess someone likes it. Or they bought too much and want to clear the warehouse?

I did try escargot on DCL. And pate on KLM flight (midnight snack offering). But I can’t get anchovies or more liver past my mind - or my tongue. Speaking of tongue - not trying that either. Don’t know what I’m missing and not ready to find out.

But I do eat various sausages, including hot dogs. And don’t think about where they come from. And love them. Maybe, somewhat daring. 🤭
