Holiday Inn -Universal

Has anyone stayed there since the remodeling. We have ressie's for a 2bdrm suite in May and was just curious!!! Thanks.

We stayed in a 2BR about 5-6 years ago, and they were the "new" rooms. The other section of the hotel was noticeably older. Anyway, the 2BR was huge. Full sized kitchen. Large bedrooms, we had 2 queens (or full?) in each bedroom. We had only 6 people. Ask for upper floor facing the park-- we could see the fireworks each night from balcony, if we were there. Pool was small, and just ok. We did not care, the room was large and inexpensive.

I also would like to know about the Holiday Inn at Universal. I am going with my family in May and have read nothing but HORRIBLE reviews. Is it as bad as people are saying?
