holiday inn on i-drive

Hi there, staying at the holiday inn on i-drive, i have heard differing reports about the hotel can anyone fill me in? Thanks.(we fly on may 28th not long now)

Hi, we're going there too and will be arriving a about a week after you.

We have seen the mixed reviews but are not too concerned as more than 50% have been good or not too bad reviews and you can't please everyone all the time.

The only thing that concerns us out of the not so good comments is the noise from the Interstate. We didn't realise it was so close when we booked - we didn't even know what side of I-Drive it was.

I am going with an open mind in the knowledge that it's a Virgin Flagship and, if I am not happy then I will certain complain and push for a room move.

Being hard to please I have stayed at HI I-Drive twice now so that probably says something! We found the hotel very good value for money although I would ask for a Tower room they are much larger with nicer furnishings than the pool rooms. The pool is excellent and the bar is small but nice.

Dont be worrying, me and the family stayed there in October.
Its very clean, the staff are really freindly and the rooms are fine.
Whats the problem.

I stayed here one night and moved to another hotel.

The rooms reminded me of the TV show Prisoner Cell Block H.

I believe the rooms in the tower are much better though
