Holiday Decorations

How long do they keep them up in the parks?
A friend is running in the marathon & wonders if she'll be able to see the parks decorated.

that the decorations will come down January 2nd.

Someone else might know a more exact date.

Some of the decorations will beginning coming down right after the first of the year and some wil take a little longer. Last year we arrived on January 5th and the trees in the parks were down but it took several more days for the trees in the resorts to come down. Its a staged process to take down, just as it is to put up

DH and I were there in September for our Honeymoon and they had begun putting some up then.

The Lights of Winter may still be lit up for the marathon or half (when you run through Epcot in the dark). Rest of the parks should be pretty well undecorated.
