holding point question please

my friend has 30 holding points. can she give them to me? can she book a ressie for me in 7 days? i am heading out this weekend and i am in high hopes of adding an extra night.... if i can use her points. thanks so much

I think she'd have to make the reservation for you. If there's availability, she could make the ressie in your name and then give you the confirmation number, and I'm not sure you even need that...just so they have your name on the reservation.

And if it's for the same type of accomodation and same location, get MS to link the two so you don't have to move. Holding points mean that she can only use them 60 days out to make a reservation and they expire at the end of her UY.

holding account points can be transferred. They are supposed to keep the same status but pst experience suggests this may or may not happen. It would use up the one transfer for that UY for each account if you did so.
