Rosemary, keep lookin'! Don't stop lookin' and make sure that you contact all four major DVC resellers and get on their call lists. That's the only way to get the jump on some of these deals sometimes.

It's official......

WE HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR OUR RESALE!!!!

Just got word today....my daughter's 1st birthday....that our resale has been accepted and the closing papers are on their way!!

Thanks to everyone who has been thinkin' good thoughts and for all of your support on the boards!

I've updated the 'timeline' in my opening post to assist any of those folks looking to get an idea of how long it would take for a resale. I believe mine made it all the way through to the 30-day mark before becoming official, but we are official nonetheless!

By the way, DisneyDiva, good luck with your resale! Looks like Disney is taking a while for the ROFR to go through. Keep the faith because in the last couple of weeks I've seen one for $68/point and another for $66/point go through!

When we closed, we had our realtor (Jackie) give us our membership number right away, and we were at "home" within less then a week (late last October) for 3 nights in an OKW studio. Try to get your membership # right away, and as soon as you have it, you can book your visits home.
