hold now, really??

I need to call wdw to fix something a cm did when I called to get fd. I've been on hold for over 30 minutes. I thought Thursday morning would be a slow time to call.

Yesterday..late a.m.-over 2 hours to modify my ressie! Good thing I had been in Practice the day FD had been released!! Lol

Last night I was on hold about 40 minutes before finally getting a CM to pay my package off! Last week I called and hung up after 15 min and called again and had to hang up after 20 min! Then earlier this week, the whole system was down so I couldn't get thru at all.

Luckily, the CM from last night was great once I got to her!

Funny as soon as I posted on her, the cm answered. Ummm, I wonder if she somehow knew I was on the disboards or the disboard have power to get the cm's the answer the phones. But got it all straight. Yay!

Just got off the phone with Disney. This was the third try - first time I waited 25 minutes, had to hang up to get the other line. The second I waited for 20 minutes before I had to start getting ready for work (this was at 6:30AM!).

This time I was going to wait until I got a human Waited over 20 minutes, the guy was super nice but I was not in the mood - just got off work and on top of that I am starving. But everything is done - oh carp! I just remembered that I had to give him our flight info. I kid you not, I just remembered as I was typing this

I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one waiting. The cm had originally given me DDP but I just wanted QS. I was just surprised to see I still got the free round of golf and etc. even with QS. Woohoo! It's the little things that brighten my day.

I have been reading that a lot, and I mean a lot, of fellow DIS folks have been having horrifying experiences with the website. Maybe that accounts for the huge amount of phone traffic. I remember back in 2011 I was able to do almost everything via website, now that seems to be not the case

Same thing happened to me. Called Tuesday afternoon and held for over 40 minutes before I gave up. Wednesday morning on hold for over thirty minutes and had to hang up. Called back again about 10 minutes later and this time instead of stating I wanted to "modify existing reservation" at the prompt as I had on the two previous attempts I said "make new resort reservation" - my hold time was about 3 minutes.

We have been SO busy lately its crazy. Normally the calls dwindle down at around 8:30-9 but the past week has been a lot of really late nights at the DRC. Not sure what is up with the automated system but that isn't the first time I've heard that so I can look into that for you if you'd like. If you have to call during the day, call at right around 3:30. The last shift starts at 2:45 so typically the call volume drops a great amount and I will actually have a couple minutes in between calls.

I know its frustrating to be on hold so long but we are working sooo hard to get everything done efficiently and correctly so your patience is greatly appreciated.
