HoJo's Entertainment Rate?

When is the entertainment rate applicable? How do I get it?

I want to see if I could get the rate staying November 1st of this year.

You'll need to buy a 2009 Ent. book since the 2008 book expires Nov. 1.

Yes, it has to be in effect at the time of the hotel stay. The books are from valid from September of the year until November 1 the next year. I would wait until November 2009 to buy a book for then!!

The last time I was on www.Entertainment.com, they had a special saying that if you reserved the 2009 book/card, you would get the 2008 book/card free! I would definitely check online with them to see if that's still the case- because if it is, it's a great deal!

I just ordered my book yesterday, and you get one for free when you buy the other. Not a bad deal at all, considering the discount can save you $50 per night at Hojos!

I booked an Oct trip so the 08 book will come in handy then, and we will go in the spring and use the 09 card. Even though the Orange County book is more than some areas (40) I will get at least 2 trips out of this book purchase. We are staying 5 nights in Oct so I will be well ahead of the book purchase in saving approx $250 on the room.

You don't have to buy the Orange County Book, you can buy any area book, all they need to see is the entertainment card at check in, and I think they are the same no matter which area book you get.

YOu got the one for your area, yes? Just go onto the entertainment website and check out the things in your area. I think you have to create an account before you can see things, but I definitely started an account BEFORE I got my book, so I know that's possible. And the book will have more things than the website.

My area's book has restaurant coupons, coffee shop coupons, and so on. Along with Universal Orlando coupons, Seaworld San Diego coupons, Legoland coupons, car rental coupons, and so on. Also local entertainment coupons like the local zoo and such.

Yes, you are correct. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the Las Vegas one which is where I live. I debated buying one from any old area just to get the card since there were a lot of areas that were only $25 but we travel to southern california quite often for quick trips and I have heard the OC version has lots of good discounts, including some of the other S. California theme parks, so I figured it would be worth the $40 for 2 years of books.

I'm so glad I found out about the Hojo ent rate! I love disboards!!
