I don't see that Costco is offering HoJo's as an option for their DLR packages for 2013. Anyone know if they might add HoJo's closer to 2013?

They are not on the GAT brochures now either. I am guessing that are no longer participating in the Good Neighbor program. Would be interesting to know why? Maybe they will come on and comment.

That is a bummer. I went ahead and booked HoJo's for our summer 2013 trip but was really hoping I could go thru Costco to get the additional benefits of the character meal and $$ gift card etc.

Can I ask - and please free to not answer if you are not comfortable - what rate you were able to get at Hojos? We are also going in summer 2013 and when I look on Hojo's website their rates say $170+ per night! TIA

Our rate is $143.10 and that is including a 10% discount (stay 3 nights save 10%).

When I was searching Costco travel last year for a fall 2011 trip, Hojo wasn't an option. I ended up booking everything separately, which saved $$.

I searched Costco for my trip this year and it was cheaper to book separately.

For me, a Costco pkg saves me about $100 total. I booked with Carousel which offers third night free. If it weren't for the 3rd nite free special, the pkg definitely is more expensive. Costco also throws in a $20 GC.

I figured the Costco pkg was about a $100 cheaper but we love the water park at Hojo's so will probably stay with our reservations there.

I also booked via Costco for our December trip and HoJo's is not an option, nor was it when we used Costco in 2009. For our family Costco saves us money due to the perks that come with the packages. I priced out the vacation separately and it was close to the same price without the free gift card and premium character meals that come with the Costco package.

This is the same package my mom booked for our spring 2013 trip. I haven't stayed at the Carousel yet, but the photos look good, the reviews look okay, and the location looks fantastic. I have stayed at the Park Place Inn, Candy Cane Inn, and the Quality Inn. It looks like the Carousel is nearly the same location as PPI.

The Costco Carousel package was cheaper than the AAA package at the Fairfield that my mom had looked into, and the Costco package included the meal and gift card perks.
