Just thought I'd mention for those of your AP-ers in this thread that the AP Discount now works like the ET Discount- with the $59/$69/$79$/99 per night + tax rates being available on some days, and then the flat 20% discount being available on the nights that it's not. And there's a thread to check those dates here!

I'm so excited about this new, deeper discount for Disneyland Annual Passholders! And it's just in time for Valentine's Day!

As far as I know- that's the plan for now. And the other nice thing is that now AP holders don't have to buy an ET Card AND they don't have to switch discounts if the full AP rate is not available for the length of their stay! Love it!

That is delightful! I had some problems with the Entertainment company when we needed the rate last June so it's great news that if our dates open up we don't need to deal with them again, since we have APs. Thank you!

My DD who will be four in August when we visit thinks you are quite the movie star . She considers "Let's Check in" to be both informational and entertaining. She is hoping to get to meet you so if you are around the hotel don't be surprised if a four-year-old asks you for your autograph.

Oooh so now I don't have to remember to borrow my parents' card when we go? Do I need to call and tell them that I want to change it to the AP rate for my days or can I just mention it at check in?

I spoke to someone at in-house reservations today (I think her name was Dezi?) and asked about this. She said (very nicely, I might add) that she hadn't heard about it and only knew of the 20% AP discount. Maybe everyone doesn't know yet?

On another note, I spoke to someone else earlier in the day about the fact that I am not an AP holder yet but I plan to upgrade a day or 2 into my stay, and he informed me that I could get the AP rate for my whole stay. Awesome! I haven't stayed at HoJo yet, but so far I am already impressed with the staff.

I have already booked a king room with the 20% off AP discount. If my dates become available for the deeper discount, should I still call and have it changed or will you change it automatically? I'd definitely call in and get it changed over just so there's no confusion [in case the dates close in the meantime].

Hmmmm, that's strange that Desi didn't know! I'll definitely check with the girls to make sure that we're all on the same Totally Awesome and Money Saving page.

And yeh! You can definitely get the discount- it just won't be applied until you come back to the Front Desk with your AP in hand. But yeh- once you do that, they can adjust the rate to the proper discount!

Congrats on your new AP!

I would keep checking back at this thread to see if your dates pop up, and then just call 714-776-6120 and ask for In-House Reservations. Unfortunately, our system is not quite sophisticated enough to update itself, so you'll have to give us a little bit of help! But if they do, definitely give us a call! We'd love to get the rate changed for you!

OMG, I didn't know that the gal corresponding here was the gal from the video...my daughter is 9 and she said the same thing. After watching several of the videos...talking about how much fun she was going to have in the pool area...how nice the rooms were...then she said and we get to see the girl in the video...how cute!

We're doing DI&S this time as both came out to the same price w/o the EC rate at HOJO. I am still hopeful that HOJO will extend the dates though. I'll pull rank on the girls in a heartbeat then. lol The rates currently end the day before we get there.
