Will I need the ent. card in hard when calling. We have ordered it but it has not made it to the house yet. Thanks.

Id love to know the dates that the ET rate was available at Hojo Anaheim in March 2011?? We are planning for next year (2012) and hoping for a great deal!

I second this. My boyfriend and I will be taking our first trip to Disneyland in March and are trying to price out the trip.

MeganAnne: I found them on page 5 of this post:yay:......looks like it was March 1-10 2011. Thats when I need for 2012! Hope they include your dates too!!

Thanks so much for the heads up! I'm so glad to hear you're dates are looking good! Unfortunately, our dates are a little bit later (March 14-18). As we are college students going during Spring Break, I had anticipated we'd have to pay standard room rates, but there's no harm in hoping for a better deal! :P

MeganAnne, DOnt know if you already know or not but they just added some dates for March 2012. I know the 18th is listed. Maybe if you call the hotel directly you could get your other dates too!

Bumping this up to see if there are any more dates lurking for end of september beginnning october of last year?
thx

I just booked 4 nights Oct 8 through Oct 12 with an entertainment rate of 20% off the regular rate for the 2 queen premium Disney view room. I think sometimes there are larger discounts for the entertainment rate? but the rate for the HoJo room with the discount was less than the rate for the Candy Cane Inn with my usual AAA discount, so Disney view here we come

Thanks skiingfast! I did some more looking and found out our dates were eligible for the entertainment card retro rate, so I called the hotel directly and got that instead of the just 20% off that the 1-800 line gave me first... so not quite 50% off the regular $159 a night rate, but $89 a night plus tax for the premium Disney view room. Now I'm even more stoked!!!

That's awesome, I'm glad it worked out for you.

It's not exactly 50% because I believe it's 50% off high rates, which are not in effect during the slow times the Entertainment Rate is available.

I booked for 20% off for having an annual pass. Is that as good as or better than the Entertainment rate? What is the Entertainment rate? How do you get it?

Look at the link I posted above. If the days you are going are listed in that link, call the hotel directly, not the national reservation center and they will change your rate.

The Entertainment Rate is available to anyone with a current Entertainment Card or DLR AP at check in.

Minuet888, this is the info on HoJo's site on the Entertainment Book discount http://www.boards.hojoanaheim.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=13
There is also a link on that page to the dates that were linked in an earlier post.

It looks like there is a similar "retro rate" discount for AP holders so I would check the hotel's website for information to see if that's available for your dates, because if it's available it would beat the 20% discount you already have.

Looking at the current available Retro Rates, they have nothing for this December. Does that mean that there won't be any at all; or wouldn't they post dates that far ahead?

I am so hoping for December 17th -20th for my adult children and their families to stay. I think it would be fabulous for the grandkids to play in the pool, but sadly I am wanting to book their trips soon. Nothing is showing for December, and I don't know if I should wait any longer.
