OOC: If MK is petrified now, how about after she is back to normal, she is going somewhere with Ella-with no mirror. Can you PM me the list so far Cindy? By the way, I won't petrify half the characters in this RP, so how about we limit it to about 5 petrified characters, and 2 dead.

MK: MK stood. "I need to stretch out. Care to join me for a walk, Ivy?" She brushed her blonde hair from her face an waited for her friend's response.

Baskilisk: She knew it was time for her first attack, just as her master had said. Slithering down the pipes, she listened for her targets voices.

Ivy: Ivy nodded. "That sounds like a good idea. Let's go MK." She got up and joined Mary Katherine.

MK: MK smiled and exited the Common Room and headed down a corridor slowly, taking in the castle. She played with her hair, wondering if she should put it up. "Usually my hair is in a bun," she noted. "It feels strange up." She pulled a mirror from a bag she was carrying, and began to try and put her pale blonde hair up.

MK: MK smiled and exited the Common Room and headed down a corridor slowly, taking in the castle. She played with her hair, wondering if she should put it up. "Usually my hair is in a bun," she noted. "It feels strange up." She pulled a mirror from a bag she was carrying, and began to try and put her pale blonde hair up.

MK: MK finished her hair, it was now in a bun. She held out the mirror between herself and Ivy. "How does it look?" she asked.

MK: MK saw a flash of.. something, in the mirror. A flash of yellow, then a feeling crept up on her, starting at her feet, then spreading. She felt herself go rigged. Her last thought was What's happening?! before she was consumed in darkness.

OOC I'm taking a wild guess as to what it feels like to be Petrified... I'm eating lunch too, back soon

Ivy: She was looking in the mirror when all of a sudden she spotted two yellow eyes. Suddenly she began to freeze. She didn't know what was happening, only that it was both painful and numbing. Her dropped to the ground, and in her mind Ivy was trapped somewhere small, dark, and cold.

Jane: " Cindy, I need to check on something. Be right back. " She went down the hall and found 2 exchange students, petrified ! She screamed for a teacher. She levitated the girls and brought them to the hospital wing.

Prof. Smith: He didn't respond, you can't rationalize the actions of the insane. Should he tell her? Should he tell her he killed Christine's killer? Should he tell her the thing that he has never been able to admit to anyone, not even his own parents? Should he tell her that he knew so much more about Christine's death? Should he tell her that he was there that night? Should he tell her that he lied to her, to everyone, because he was too cowardly to face the truth?

Professor Black: Melanie studied his face; he seemed to be contemplating something. Contrary to whatever it was that Evan was deciding, Melanie knew what they needed to do. "You do know what we've got to do, don't you?" she asked. They had two options: 1) Evan would go into hiding or 2) Melanie had to lie...something she was dreadfully awful at. She only had to convince everyone but Evan and herself that they were no longer close-that she wasn't close to anyone. She had to convince them she couldn't love, which was nearly impossible. It seemed childish, but it could work.

Nurse Lilac: Jane brought 2 girls in who appeared to be petrified. " What happened?!" She asked, laying them on 2 beds. She put curtains around the beds.
Jane: " I found them in a hallway. One of them was holding a mirror. It couldn't have been the baskilisk, could it ?!"
