Georgie: she had fallen back asleep, but she was having night terrors. She twitched and writhed around in the bed. She reached over for Evan but couldn't find him to protect her so she started crying.

Corbin: "I actually thought I was getting somewhere! Making her actually love me! She laughed! She actually laughed! I ruined everything! I don't know how, but I ruined it!" He slammed his fist against the wall again and it started bleeding. He didn't care, he just let the blood run down his clenched fist.

Melanie: She sat there in her office, crying, having no idea how to live through this. Christi was back; she had to remind herself every so often. She closed her eyes and thought.
Their date had scared her. She wasn't being careful enough to ensure his protection. This thought led to Evan's words, the words she knew were true because he was the one she trusted wholly. Perhaps she was paranoid.
