Georgie: "A-are you sure? Merlin, I hate this:" she mumbled. She felt her back. Nothing was there. Not even a wrinkle in her silk nightgown. But something had to be there. It hurt so bad.

I just don't understand why anyone as amazing as him would want a clumsy, stupid, insane girl to be their wife." She clenched her fists, holding back tears. That question repeated itself in her head all the time, adding many different insults to herself. "I know I have a low self esteem, Mel, but how can I help it? All the things I think about myself have been confirmed by others."

Melanie: She sighed. "I knew you were hurting, but never this much. You've got to learn to drown them out, Georgie. They don't matter; it's merely an opinion. Evan doesn't love you because you have schizophrenia. He loves you because you're you. You were meant to be together."
