Melanie: She frowned slightly. "Evan likes you. And you're needed. So many children have suffered this year. It reminds me of the war."

ID: She sat in the pub, sipping her glass of firewhiskey. It stung the back of her throat, it was kind of horrible, but she didn't care. It was helping her feel numb again.

Joey: "She's a businesswoman. They're screwed up. Let's go. Everybody gets insulted, not everybody gets tortured over it." He kissed her, trying to lighten the mood.
