Gabrielle: Most of the students had left and gone to their common rooms, to be away from the body. She was still crying over it. "Melanie?" she called. She assumed she was close enough to call her that now, "There has to be a way to bring him back. There just has to be."

Jane: Her leg stopped hurting, but she was a bit freaked out by her shin and foot being gone on her left leg. She made a plastic leg to replace it and left. No one knew her leg was gone except Fiona and Nagini, so she wouldn't tell anyone. She walked down the hall to the classroom again to see Jackson.
