Hogwarts RP part 10

OOC: I know this is really random (I'm random today), but am I the only one who can see Luke and 15-year-old Christine? The more I think about it, the more I think I should have left her 15 when I brought her back from the dead.

OOC: A little bit, yeah.
That would have been really weird. I feel so because Evan would be twice as old as her. And Kelsey would have been seventeen still.

OOC: Yessss. Maybe she could still feel uncomfortable and could ask Evan or someone to turn her back to her original age.

OOC: Maybe, unless you could choose whether to turn to the age you should be or remain the age when you were taken. Then Kelsey could've moved on.

OOC: Yessss. Maybe she could still feel uncomfortable and could ask Evan or someone to turn her back to her original age.

OOC: It's something to consider, especially since it would be uncomfortable to go from 15 to 27. And then she could be a bit like an older sister to Belle.

OOC: I just realized something about my charries.

Tori went from being a slightly annoying detective to a really mature and thoughtful character.
Bass is like the Sherlock Holmes and the Captain Obvious of my charries.
Chris is the anti-hero at times and he is definitely my most developed character if not my favorite.
Ivan used to be the spooky prophet and actually ended up causing more trouble for Tori than for Chris.
Lori was like the martyr at first and then she came back to life so she is the true innocent of the bunch.
Phyllis was the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde that I had never intended to make.
Sheila is my kind character and it makes me wonder how she ended up in Slytherin because I made her too nice.
Alec is the keeper of many secrets and he is the one who truly became the prophet of Eris's doom.
Eris is the symbolic form of a girl swept up in controversy and paid the ultimate price for it.

My character archetypes and symbolic traits are so interesting.

OOC: Emmett's a Slytherin of course. And a 7th year

Emmett: He watched her from across the Great Hall. She was beautiful, in a fiery, I'm-dangerous-don't-touch-me kind of way. Plus she was wealthy, the head of her family and pure of blood. Despite being a Gryffindor, she would be the perfect wife. He had had a crush on her since 1st year, but she didn't see him. In fact, she kind of hated him. But that would change, he thought. He'd use Amortentia, and then she would be his. But the Amortentia was only a temporary step. He'd learned soul-stealing from his mother, the infamous Emerald Soulkeeper (their actual last name was the inconspicuous Jones) but he had learned a step further. He had figured out how to put an emerald on someone, so you had possession of their soul but they kept physical form, but he never told his mother his discovery.

Veronica's in Slytherin, so...

OOC: Forgive me for this, it shouldn't be stressing me out, as it doesn't really affect me at all.

I've voiced this before, but that was a long time ago and I'm not certain that you all remember it. I really don't like the idea of tampering with age and death, it makes it too weird for the characters and the others who are affected by them. I mean, Evan went fifteen years in pain because of Christi and then suddenly she reappeared again. I realize that that helped him-he was in a bad place-but it affected her weirdly too. Didn't you say it would be bad for his PTSD if she were fifteen? How weird would that be, having a sister 15 years younger than you? (actually, lol, my dad has one, so this is entirely hypocritical of me).
However, I still like the idea of Lucas and Christine together.

OOC: Yeah, I get it, I do think tampering with age can be odd and there would be awkwardness.

But I think, in a way, it could fix things too.

For Evan, it's really great to have Christine back, and he loves his sister for who she is. But you have ti admit, in his mind, there is probably a disconnect in his mind. His memories of her are all as a child, it has to be confusing for him because his "final" memories of her are her at the age of 15, but what's in front of him is her at the age of 27 or 28, and nothing in between. That's gotta give him vertigo. One half of him wants to be in over-protective brother mode and the other half has to be reasonable and remind him that she's an adult now.

For Christine, I imagine the vertigo is worse. That's a huge jump between 15 and 27-28, mentally and physically. I don't even know how her mind has held up, that's a lot of mental development there that she just kind of skipped over. And there just has to be like a blank, empty period in her mind where the portion of her life that she should have gone through would have been. She can do adult things now but her maturity level just might not be there. She doesn't know whether to act like a teenager or an adult some of the time I imagine.

I'm not trying to convince you or anything, just rationalizing the thought.

OOC: You're fine. That actually makes more sense now. I get it, and even though the age thing is still weird, I think that's probably very rational with the way you did things. I always thought it was sort of sad she missed so much life.
Yeah, you pretty much made me level. I'm cool:cool1: with whatever.

Emmett: He headed for the Slytherin Common room. He'd brew the Amortentia in his dorm room, or perhaps in the Room of Requirement... somewhere no one could find it. Then he'd get Edeline hooked on it, but how?

Georgie: "Alec, no matter what happens, I'll be here for you."

Alec: "And I'm honestly really glad to hear you say that, Georgie, but I don't know if this is the life for me. All I've ever done is protect Eris, even then I failed to do that."
