Holly: She had finally arrived home when she got the letter. She read it, took a quill, and wrote:

Claire,
I just arrived home, but things are crazy here. My mum invited some friends over for Christmas, but they don't arrive until the eve. I've been with my sister. Did you know they have another broom out? She's been talking all about it. Things are really strange without dad here-he loved Christmas-but I suppose we'll get on. You, too!

Ah. Crazy is terrible. Terrible but sometimes wonderful haha. I have! I want it soooo bad. Top of the Christmas list. Mom and Dad aren't too pleased with my grades, so it'll be a miracle bur hey who knows. Sorry about your dad.

Gabrielle: she disapparated to Corbin and threw her arms around him. "I know you won't leave me. I know you won't. It's just hard for me to comprehend."

Georgie: she looked at Gabrielle. She looked almost as bad as she herself normally did. The poor girl had tear stains down her face, her hair was frizzed and unruly, and she had dark circles under her eyes. She looked closer at Gabrielle's hair and saw a few strands of grey. She sighed. These poor children have been through too much.

That sounds nice. Very different. I live around Muggles. You have to be very careful about using magic in public. The Ministry won't let us build a wall like the one in London to Diagon Alley, but it's fine. There's always floo power. There's also a the school in plain sight. It's the only one in America, about a hundred students. Most are locals but some use Floo Powder. There's a boarding Wizarding school in Canada most American wizards use. The Salem school is disgused as a normal private school. We have many city wizarding meetings there. The states are extremely different. It's hard to explain, but they are. You're welcome to come visit anytime!
