Lori: Lori stepped forward. "It's really me, Mum." Mrs. Minor: Marissa turned around. "No, I'm seeing things." Lori: Lori gave her mom a hug. She said, "I'm home." Mrs. Minor: A small chill ran down her spine. She said, "I can't-" Lori: "I missed you." Mrs. Minor: She began crying. Lori: Lori sniffed. Finally, it felt as if it had been an eternity waiting for her mom to be able to give Lori a hug again.

Mari: she nudged Chris forward. "Comfort her."

 

[The Villianess]

Mari: she nudged Chris forward. "Comfort her."

Lori: She said, "It's okay." Then she cried.

Mrs. Minor: Marissa was shaking. She said, "You're home."

Lori: "Merry Christmas. I'm sorry I haven't gotten you a gift these past two years."

Mrs. Minor: "That's okay. The best Christmas gift is having you back at home."

Lori: Lori sniffed. "Really?"

Mrs. Minor: Marissa nodded. "Absolutely."

Lori: Lori wiped some of the tears from her eyes and thought about her last two years spending Christmas as a lonely ghost. She said, "I was worried that I would never be able to spend Christmas with you ever again."

Mari: she smiled and tears filled her eyes. She went into the other room and sat down on a couch.

Lori: Lori sniffled quietly. She asked, "Where's Daddy?"

Mrs. Minor: Marissa swallowed. "Not around."

Lori: "I thought he was going to be here for Chrismas. He's always been."

OOC: Hey everyone! Merry Christmas. Decided to check in. It's so sweet how much y'all miss me. I miss you all too! Life is crazy but good. Work is work, and I'm currently stage managing Hello Dolly and got chosen to to the Pme Act UIL as well. At my theatre convention last November I met this really amazing guy named Zander and now we're dating! He's great. My job ends on January 4th. I finally get some free time, and I may try to start RPing after that. I'll just have to see how much time Hello Dolly (Which opens in about a month) takes up. I miraculously don't go to work until Saturday, so I think I'll be on here until then For an idea of how busy my life is here we go.
This was last week. Thursday: Final Exams and Work 5-9 Friday: Finals, Hello Dolly, and Date with Zander Saturday-Tuesday: Work 9-9 Wednesday: Finally off until Saturday. It's a miracle!!
I am literally so sick and burnt out. But at least I'm part of a show and the job pays well.
So, I'm excited to temporarily start again. Can I have a catch up? And did anyone do anything with my charries?

Merry Christmas to you, too. So basically what's happened since you were gone is that they finished up is that they finished the Yule ball (Georgie's fine, Corbin got a head injury and is now the equivelant of a squib), Georgie and Evan's wedding is today, Gab's trying to get better through counseling, and most of Nessie's charries and Mari are at the Minors home. Everyone has either gone home or is staying at the school for Christmas break. Your characters can do whatever, as we haven't used them.

Chris: He good-naturedly put his arm around Mari's shoulders and gave her his signature smile. He said, "I think she could use some happiness this Christmas."

Alec: "I had my doubts regarding your motives," he replied, "Maybe regarding your thoughts toward my neice and my late sister. Although, I guess I should have seen this coming."

Linus: "I left for my own reasons. She was safer with you."

Merry Christmas to you, too. Claire: She relaxed on a rocking chair at her home. The fire was blazing and she was listening to her mother play the piano. It was nice to be back in Salem. Claire enjoyed Hogwarts, but it was always nice to.be home. After being a little mischievous, she had to switch schools. Earlier in the day she reunited with her old friends. Claire took out a piece of paper and wrote a letter to JP.

Hello Handsome,

I hope you're having a good break. I miss you and Hogwarts, but it nice to be back in America. Expect for the fact the parents are bombarding me with questions hehe. Salem is a commuter school, so it's killing them. There's just something different face to face over letters. Salem is also a muggle town. Most American Witches and Wizards live here too, and it's very mixed. The muggles even heard a little about us, but it's all myth to them. Because of that, we have a little Muggle influence. It's a little controversial actually, it's pretty split. Kinda like the pureblood drama a few years ago. Anywhoos, we use electronics. If you ever get your hands on a laptop, we should Skype. It's like talking in real life, but on a screen. Pretty neat stuff. How's everything at your home? Have a good holiday.

She put on her scarf and jacket and hurried outside. She lived in a red brick townhouse. Her unit was tall and skinny, the attic as her room. It wasn't gross tho, her parents remodeled it nice. Inside the forest was a community owlery for the witches and wizards inside a small shack. Muggles didn't see it, and it was kinda in the middle of nowhere. After a seven minute walk, she arrived sending that and some other letters.

Holly: She had finally arrived home when she got the letter. She read it, took a quill, and wrote:

I just arrived home, but things are crazy here. My mum invited some friends over for Christmas, but they don't arrive until the eve. I've been with my sister. Did you know they have another broom out? She's been talking all about it. Things are really strange without dad here-he loved Christmas-but I suppose we'll get on. You, too!

Melanie: She checked her watch, it was almost time. She had promised Georgie she would act normal, and she certainly didn't want to ruin the wedding. If became necessary, she would use a disillusionment charm.

Tiffany: She decided to stay at parents house over the break. It was much needed during her hard times. Tiffany enjoyed seeing her family like anyone would. Many times looking at her small baby bump which just appeared three days ago would bring sadness. It reminded Tiffany of what could of been. She could still be with the best man in the world raising her child. But her husband was gone, and ir brought her pain. That's the main reason she went away from Nasa to teach again, to take her mind of the past and start fresh. But her family was excited and Tiffany was being to feel a little optimistic about the child. She'd always miss her husband, but maybe her child wouldn't be a burden of past memories but a nice memory of him and a fresh beginning. Maybe she'd even find a new husband someday. A replacement? Never. But someone new she could be happy with. She didn't need a man to be happy, but having one wouldn't be bad.
