Chris: "It really depends on who you talk to. I wouldn't say that they are all scary, but most of them can get dangerous. They probably won't do anything though, considering Uncle James was killed this year."

Melanie: "She needs her choice. The bond between father and child is important."

Georgie: "She has survived without him for long enough. Her uncle is very important to her."

Troy: "Hi. What're you up to?"

Sheila: "Not much. Just spending too much time being mad at Phyllis. She hasn't really been the nicest sister lately."

Chris: He held Mari's hand. "I promise nothing bad will happen to you."

OOC: Since Wings isn't on, I'm just going to have Alec go home with Eris anyway to work on developing their relationship. If that's okay with everyone.

Eris: After they had finally gotten home, she looked around her familiar living room with its wooden floors. The olive colored curtains Uncle Alec always hated but she talked him into keeping looked the same as they did before she left for Hogwarts this year.

Alec: "I didn't really have time to redecorate anything," he said. "Since this was all of a sudden."

Eris: "You don't have to worry about that," Eris insisted. "You probably just wanted to spend Christmas away from Hogwarts for once."

Alec: Alec smiled. "Mmmmmm hmm."

Eris: "You're quieter than you usually are," Eris remarked. "Just an observation."

Alec: He blinked. "I'm sorry."

Chris: He held Mari's hand. "I promise nothing bad will happen to you."

Georgie: "And you think Linus is better?!"

Mari: "I'm not worried."

Georgie: "And you think Linus is better?!"

Mari: "I'm not worried."

Melanie: She sighed.

Eris: Eris sat down as Alec brought in tea. Eris said, "Do you think you could finally tell me about my real father?"

Alec: Alec almost spilled her cup on account of jitttery hands. He replied, "What more questions could you possibly have?"

Eris: "You know." Eris said "Did you ever meet my father before he left?"

Alec: "I didn't." he answered. "Have you ever met your father?"

Eris: "No. I was just wondering if he ever came back. Just to see if Mom was right by keeping me away from knowing him."

Alec: "She was, I was there when she told me what happened. Someone who leaves without giving reason should not be coming back."

Eris: "I know, I don't think I'd be very happy if I did see him again. But maybe just his name would be sufficient."

Melanie: She sighed.

Georgie: "I am not letting Mikial Linus touch that girl! She belongs with Alec!"

 

[The Villianess]

Georgie: "And you think Linus is better?!"

Mari: "I'm not worried."

Chris: "That's good." he said.

Georgie: "You don't understand." She had clenched her fists and her knuckles were turning white.

Mari: she kissed his cheek.

OOC: In the back of my head, I feel like Alec had a very good reason for keeping Eris away from Linus, not just because he was a death eater. I don't know what that reason is, but somehow I feel like there should be something major missing.

Alec: "We talked about your dad, about how he didn't want to be there, about how your mom knew it was best to go with me. You loved your stepfather as much as she did, I know because you told me two years ago."

Eris: "Before they died. I was just wondering if my dad ever came looking for me."

Alec: "I don't know. Your mom wouldn't have allowed it even if he did."

Eris: "I guess you're right."

Georgie: "You don't understand." She had clenched her fists and her knuckles were turning white.

Mari: she kissed his cheek.

Melanie: "He isn't as bad as you think." Her face was turning red, though not in anger.

OOC: That's a good suggestion. Would that make Mel and Eris related in a way?

Alec: "You just don't understand. Don't you realize that you and your mother could have been damaged by him?"

Eris: "All I want is a name. I don't want to find him, uncle, but I do want to at least know his name."

Alec: He hesitated to give her the name. He said, "Not tonight."

Eris: Eris knew her uncle was only trying to protect her. She muttered, "One name."

OOC: That's a good suggestion. Would that make Mel and Eris related in a way?

Alec: "You just don't understand. Don't you realize that you and your mother could have been damaged by him?"

Eris: "All I want is a name. I don't want to find him, uncle, but I do want to at least know his name."

Alec: He hesitated to give her the name. He said, "Not tonight."

Chris: He then turned around to see the rest of his family here. Most of them were wearing black, others were wearing normal colors.

OOC: The people who are wearing normal colors are on Uncle James' side of the fight.
