OOC: Yeah, that would be sort of weird. I don't think anyone other than Mel, Evan and Linus know about his affair with Jayne, though, so that would be interesting to hear about at the court.

Alec: He looked at Eris with sad eyes. He said, "There's something that I do need to tell you."

Eris: Eris could feel her heart skip a beat. She replied, "Maybe I could help you if you want me to."

Alec: "I-I have to appear in court. I-I'm being........s-sued because of some adult issues."

Eris: Eris's eyes widened. "Who is suing you?"

Alec: "That Professor Linus. It's not really a-"

Eris: "Oh, I didn't know you knew him. I'm sorry."

Alec: "No, you shouldn't feel sorry for something I did. I just-"

Eris: "You'll need an attorney. I can help you find one if you want."

Alec: "I can find someone. I didn't want to worry you about this in case-"

Eris: "In case?" she said. "Don't worry me."

Alec: "I won't!" he whispered. "What's going on?"

Eris: "I'm sorry about asking nosy questions."

Alec: "You shouldn't need to feel sorry about that."

OOC: "Eris never knew her father. Her father had left their family about a week after she was born. Eris's mother, Florentina, married a man name Frank Tridentia when Eris was two. Eris lived a happy life until her mother and stepfather died three years ago, without anyone knowing what had caused their deaths.........................This prevented her from ever knowing who her father was."

Technically, it never states that Florentina was married to Linus, so I'm not sure if they were married or not. I would say that they probably were not married, because Eris' first last name is Maskavitz.

EDIT: I also know that it wasn't really relevant, but I feel that it should have been addressed, just in case some marriage questions popped up in court.

OOC: Good idea, I think the second choice would be more interesting because then both sides could put up an equally strong argument each before the result is finalized.
