OOC: Honestly, I'm not really sure.
OOC: Yeah, I'm not either.
OOC: Honestly, I'm not really sure.
OOC: Yeah, I'm not either.
OOC: I just looked it up, and no, they would not be related.
OOC: That's a relief, Eris would not be too pleased with more family members.
OOC: Yeah, that would be sort of weird. I don't think anyone other than Mel, Evan and Linus know about his affair with Jayne, though, so that would be interesting to hear about at the court.
OOC: It would be, plus that could work both ways if no one knows about Linus' affair with Florentina aside from Linus or Mel.
OOC: "Eris never knew her father. Her father had left their family about a week after she was born. Eris's mother, Florentina, married a man name Frank Tridentia when Eris was two. Eris lived a happy life until her mother and stepfather died three years ago, without anyone knowing what had caused their deaths.........................This prevented her from ever knowing who her father was."
Technically, it never states that Florentina was married to Linus, so I'm not sure if they were married or not. I would say that they probably were not married, because Eris' first last name is Maskavitz.
OOC:Yes, it very much would. This is going to get so dirty.
OOC: Brandon says no as well, but Eris's real last name would be Linus, as far as I understand (I've never dealt with any of that stuff).
OOC: It really is. I think this will probably end up very awkward in front of the judge.
I think I get why Georgie wouldn't want Linus near Eris. And, imagine the disgusted response from Alec in the middle of court.
It'll be fascinating..............
OOC: It really will be. I'm assuming this will happen at the ministry because it's like a government for wizards?
OOC: I'm assuming the exact same thing, mostly because in Harry Potter court cases were handled at the ministry.
OOC: okay. That would make things easier.
OOC: Yeah. I think this case could seriously go either way though.
OOC: You'll probably either need to have it decided beforehand or just go with the flow and decide right before the decision is made (which might make it more fun).
OOC: Good idea, I think the second choice would be more interesting because then both sides could put up an equally strong argument each before the result is finalized.
OOC: I also think the secrets that come out in court could emotionally damage Eris because she hasn't heard about Alec's past yet. Goodnight!
