We will be in WDW 12/8-12/12. Let me know if you would change anything.
12/8 MVMCP
12/9 EMH MK then hop to MGM
12/10 EMH AK then hop to MK
12/11 MK then hop to Epcot
12/12 Chef Mickey

I read that Pop Warner will be at MGM on the 9th. I thought about switching MGM with Epcot on the 11th. The problem with that is MK closes early so MGM would be busy then too. What would you do?

I believe the PW party is in the evening at MGM. Were you going to stay all the way through Fantasmic? The night should be pretty hectic, I am guessing. We have our FDP that night so we'll be there braving the crowds. I always thought the PW party was a private event but I have talked to 3 different CMs now and it sounds like MGM will still be open to regular visitors.

Hi we will be there at the same time Our you flying southwest at BWI if so they just dropped tickets prices again ($49). I just re booked to stay Sunday night and switched my MVMCP to Sunday night.

Here is mine

Thurs Birthday dinner for DD at CBR (we get in at 5)
Friday MK and then Epcot at night
Saturday AK for Breakfast then MGM (fantasmic dinner)
Sunday Chef Mickey visit GF for gingerbread houses,DTD and then MVMCP

We did not get park tickets for Sunday becuase we thought we were leaving at 3.

MGM is opening a Chron. of Narnia attraction at MGM on Firday that might draw a big crowd?

Can't wait!

We are doing MGM on 12/10. UG says it is a good day. We were going to do MGM on 12/8, but the Narnia exhibit doesn't open until 12/9 (A must see for me). We have Epcot CP for 12/9 so we have MGM on 12/10!

Did I use enough numbers in my post? :)

Julianne, that question was for a friend actually, as she is having trouble posting. I will be there the 10-18th and we are flying out of Dulles. My sister and cousin are on Southwest though and I got them DING fares of only $88 roundtrip about a month ago!

We also have CP for the 9th and MGM for the 10th. I also hope it won't be very crowed.

Boy girl, you scared me, thought you were having major brain malfunction there. :rotfl:

My son just finished his season as a Pop Warner. In fact my DH & I just returned from wdw & our DS didn't go with us because he would miss his last game as a Pop Warner player. Next year is high school. :confused3 DH & I had a great time, but family drove us a little crazy. DS made too many decisions for everyone else & she was a first timer. Would not accept any decisions DH & I would suggest so they missed alot at Epcot.

Does anyone have the schedual for Pop Warner especially the 9th and 10th? Aren't they leaving on the 10th? I ask because me and DBF will be at DTD and DisneyQuest on the 9th and MK on the 10th and I was wondering where they will be.

Thanks

I think the Pop Warners events are over on the 10th, but that doesn't mean they leave. It would be my guess that most of them do leave by Sunday though, the 11th.

I don't think they do the parks really, as part of why they are there. I could be wrong though. But I really think the park days and times are free time and they are at all four of them on each day.

Here is their game schedule for that week. I know that for the most part, they spend the days at Wide World of Sports. We really didn't encounter them too much in 2002. Only the pools at night were PACKED and LOUD!

So the hotels are packed, but it doesn't really affect park attendance? Is that correct?

Cbarr, that was our experience! We found the parks to be fine. Now, if they are doing something special for them at MGM on Friday night, then that would have a huge impact obviously. But the majority of them do spend each day at WWofS, so the daytime attendance shouldn't be affected by them at all.

Maybe we'll be on the same flight! We're leaving too out of BWI, Southwest, on 12/3, I think at 11:05 AM.

Nope we are leaving on 12/8 to 12/12 I have never flown out of BWI before not a huge fan of Baltimore but hey at $49 I will drive a little farther

Last year they closed MGM early and were only letting Pop Warner people in. We tried to go that night and we were turned away.

And it was a ZOO.
