Hmm..what is luxury?

Ok so I am plowing through all the rentals. As many of you know, I have had a heck of a time finding the right area and place to stay. I STILL haven't quite figured it out. I haven't pulled the trigger yet probably because I am a little nervous that it won't be what I expected. I have narrowed it down to Reunion and am pretty sure that I will be happy there.

But one of my kids was kind of holding out for her own bedroom...so am still searching homes for a couple more days to just make sure we can't find a home over a condo.


Anyhow since I am kind of picky..I am looking toward more high end places. I don't mean million dollar places but nice(it's vacation right?) ...

I have noticed a trend in the vrbo's, homeaways, etc. I will click on "Luxury" home . What do you expect to find when you look at luxury??. I sort of expect maybe some upgraded furniture tvs..and even granite. I click on some really "Luxurious home with cinema rooms" just to see what they look like. They are out of my price range but I am always curious. Now I have seen some truly spectacular luxury homes. Some pretty incredible expensive places to stay out there... But I have also clicked on these "luxurious" homes only to find that in my mind..they aren't luxury at all

Have you guys noticed this? I see things like "sumptuous furniture" and honestly the house isn't even close. It was kind of a pain at first because I would click on the" Enter the lap of luxury" house only to find that the reviews were not good or the house had pink walls. But then I just started getting a kick out of it

I'm guessing that they used those key words to get you to click on their listing and it worked...!!

The term "luxurious" can be very subjective. Luckily there is a wide range of options in the accommodations in the Kissimmee are

Did you take a look at any properties in Windsor Hills? You might find something you like there.

You will find a load of luxury villas on here: reunionprivaterentals .com

To be honest luxury is fairly subjective. I get the impression its almost become a standard prefix on any rental property in Florida "luxury condo", "luxury villa" etc.

If i were you i would look for plenty of pictures of the property as even in a luxury resort a property can be less than luxury. One thing you can guarantee in Reunion the finish of the property will be luxurious i.e. marble kitchen tops etc. If you want real luxury i would suggest you stick to Reunion as it is by far and away the most high end of all the Orlando short term rental resorts.

In other resorts like emerald island or windsor hills you'd need to spend a fair bit of time looking at pictures to make sure what you were getting was high end enough.
