HM Question

How many stretching portraits are in the room with "no windows and no doors"? I was thinking 5 but there are only 4 pins coming out and I can't think which one is missing, which now has me doubting my original number of 5. How many sides are in that room? 8 or 10?

It is an octagonal room with FOUR portraits: the tightrope walker; the hatchet lady; the politician on the dynamite keg, and the three guys in the quicksand...

Now I can sleep at nights. I also now don't have to worry about a 5th HM stained glass pin at the HMH @$50 + event fee!

so those are event pins?????? I wasn't sure...saw someone get one of them (AP of course) from the trade board at the Contemp Super Trader Event last weekend...

You've got to be kidding!!!! Now I really want to kill myself for spending last Friday entertaining 2 teenage girls at EPCOT in that torrential rain and lightning storm rather than being at the Contemporary.
The price I quoted was retail. They go on e-bay for about $450. They are LE 150 and about the size of your fist. They have a skull and bones frame. The first one was a translucent HM, the second one was a fireplace with stockings hung. Not sure what this year's will look like, I'm waiting for the brochure which comes out next month.

MY MISTAKE, David..I was thinking that you were describing the "slider" HM portraits that are coming out at DL "soon"...sorry, it was one of those sliders that was on the board...STILL very cool,but not CRAZY ;-)

Okay, don't know if this is true - have to wait until HMH to verify - but someone told me there WILL be 5 translucent pins because during HMH in the two different elevator rooms 3 of the pictures are the same and then each elevator has a unique/different picture - so 4 per elevator, but actually 5 different ones

I thought I had heard there were 5 translucent HMH pins to be issued, and that's why I thought there were 5 portraits. So, I'm not hearing voices ("now stop saying that") in my head ("Jeff, is that you?") Oh well, now I do have to worry ("why are you following me?") about attending two more events after this year and trying to complete the set.

The first time I rode HMH, I was in the stretch room where the HM stained glass is not present, so I didn't make the connection until I rode it a second time.
